If you're taking requests: this killer walkup kzbin.info/www/bejne/fInIhWWFncaFb68 - philx seems to use that often. That and the lick right after it, tasty!

Hi! Still using the pxo pedal?
@JordanSteele23 күн бұрын
Yes! I used it in this video!

I’ve used it too. Great pedal but very lowmid heavy, killed the marshall kerrang of my plexi. Turned it into a marshall/mesa hybrid. 😅

Yeah it definitely has a ton of low mids. I find it rolls off well when you turn it down. I actually love what it does at least with my rig. It does what I was wanting. And the boost side is spectacular in my opinion 🤘

@@JordanSteeleI agree on the boost side. That side of the pedal alone wanted me to keep it… . I already know , I buy one again when its justified😅

So "Shred" is just another word for "Playing Scales Fast"? (Not very Musical, In my Opinion.
@JordanSteele23 күн бұрын
It’s extremely musical. Shred licks are like drum fills for guitarist. They’re a great way to build intensity, add contrast, and when executed properly in the context of a song draws the listener to a stronger emotional connection with the music.
