That isn't what they said. They were pretty obtuse about how the kits have become rather long and complex, but they never said they were going to simplify or shorten those kits. This is what they said on the July 7th blog post about about character changes moving forwards: "Our new characters will have higher Health/Damage/Armor/etc, but we're also going to reduce the amount of stats that we've been putting into Passives. As a result, Power Scores for new characters are going to increase, as most of the Power Score is tied to the base stats of a character." So not shorter, simpler kits, just less stat based passives. They even eliminated it entirely on the reworked Astral characters by changing their old teammates stats to make up for it. Which makes me think the stat based passives in Ironheart and Wasp will be removed and stats on the Power Armor and Pymtech team will be adjusted.

They only used that excuse to buff stats and make stars more valuable for the big spenders. Creates more of gap between ftp, light, and big spenders

For a character like Knull, I would make an exception. It’s stupid teams like Heroes for Hire and Infestation with stereo instructions written into their ability descriptions that don’t make sense and are ridiculous.

I am not surprised to hear that most of the call-outs are for Absolute A-Force. I hope they go the Superior/Sinister 6 route and rework some of the OG A-Force to work with the new team.

I'm glad Kahori has a nutty kit, she's the first original character in a fair amount of time. Do wish the special had unavoidable vs the ultimate, but regardless, really cool kit. As a lifelong D&D player I appreciate too her giant special's name given in a lot of ways she is basically a Cosmic Empowered Monk. Can't wait to play with her.

I really hate the way Scopely goes about abilities that are only active in certain game modes. It's way over-the-top. I'm fine with bonuses to certain game modes but those bonuses shouldn't be the difference between teams/characters being OP vs being completely useless. For example, some characters will have an ability that will apply stun/blind/ability-block/etc in certain game modes which is a very powerful bonus. So, Scopely then takes that into account when designing the rest of the kit/stats. This leads to the character being so weak that they're borderline useless in other modes, because they're trying to balance the character from being TOO overpowered in the designated game mode. I wish they did it where they just added bonus %chance to apply the effect. It'd fix everything. Let the character have a 50%(or so) chance to apply that effect in general but 100% in the designated game mode. I hate using a character I really like in some game modes where I'm thinking "I'll use this move and it'll apply stun/blind/etc and then I realize oh wait no it doesn't, ever, in this mode." Makes some of my favorite characters absolutely worthless when not in the designated game mode.

Hopefully tw Weaver might help if not gorr to remove charges which is fine I use annilartors BK no gorr to beat spider society in war got 209 damage and 208 on other account same team. That's a first both over 200k damage plus had another member 205 damage 13 attacks
