I give you the BEST steak in Taipei! Tomato Steak!
I was originally going to order the marbled beef, but the owner approached me with a Google translation saying "I will customise a meal for you", how could I decline!
After having a bowl of the unlimited chicken and sweetcorn soup with garlic bread, he brought me over a sizzling hot plate of two different steak cuts, a gigantic halibut fillet, and 2 king scallops...
I was in genuine shock when he lifted the lid off the hot plate and saw what was underneath! Huge portions of everything, proteins piled on top of spaghetti and sauce, Pak choi, more sweetcorn and a single cherry tomato 🤣
Love this place beyond belief, thank you Tomato Steak!!

This drill is annually and has been in practice for many decades. First time experiencing it can be interesting and spooky at the same time as streets are emptied and become quiet.
