Man, I see that map you edited yourself in at the start and while I can't remember the exact name, my mind instantly exhumed memories of all nook and crannies of its layout. I had so much fuckin' fun with the game and, while I realistically don't think the relaunch will attract that many people, I hope the game goes above my expectations and does well.

To think I played this game before it was even fully released and it's still getting attention is wild. It was groundbreaking then but probably was too ahead of its time too. If Max Payne was the "Matrix game" about the famous bullet dodging scene, GunZ was like the whole Matrix-movie combat style put into a game. It was epic and glad to see that this game still has such a loyal audience!

I still remember skipping school, going to the internet cafe, open gunz and just practicing K style over and over until someone in the cafe saw me and asked for a 1v1, I immediately agreed and went full tryhards mode and people just surrounding us and see who won, it's really fun but the unfortunately game soon die in my region due to lack of new players and other game like league of legends dominated the game market in my country Ever since I haven't picked up gunz for 7 years and now I saw the game return and will be in steam, it's putting tears in my eyes

I have been watching your videos covering the GunZ return, I have been playing since Netmarble days in Korean servers. Can you please bring to light what you think the Steam version of GunZ would look like? Last video I commented that private-server gunz, like Fxpgunz or fgunz has so many QoL features that are taken for granted, damage numbers, anti-lead, individual ELO system, duel tournaments, room settings, etc... The reality of the graphics remaster is that the textures will be upscaled and that's it Don't get me wrong. I loved gunz as much as anyone watching this, but it would have to run on a completely different graphics pipeline to look good in modern day standards I'm still optimistic and excited to hear gunz is coming back, but I wouldn't expect any crazy graphical overhauls Best they can do is add some more polygons but the lighting will remain ass :D

Yeah if they are doing a graphics upgrade, hopefully they make it lightweight so that you don't need to go to archetype low poly mode to play the game competitively. A brighter palette that S4 league / other anime shooters do might work though it might clash with the mood that the quest mode goes for Also they NEED to do a security fix since the base game had an RCE exploit and we all know about the hackers

first game the average pro player will be age 30-40 in lmao. i remember practicing this and g etting good for hours a day after school in 6th grade, and actually got good on my shitty compaq setup. how i didnt get carpal tunnel is beyond me. already looking into keyboard switches that will benefit me for gunz, i feel like linears enable me to accidentally double press shift or space too much, but too much reinforcement required to activate on a clicky switch is gonna hurt my fingers. hmm. also finally a shooter i cant see wooting/rapid trigger being advantageous in. good
