HDMI is not for video display, it's for AUDIO out, up to 6ch DSD64/192kHz. It's the only streamer on the market with such option! USB port is not for "service", it's a USB AUDIO input! There is NO analog input on this device. RTFM :-)

I've owned the DMP-A6 for the past 4 months and the only difference between it and this unit is the clock chip. Otherwise, the plain A6 ($858.00) would be a better value. I love my DMP-A6 so much because of the SQ it sounds way better than my BS-Node-2i so it replaced it. Now the DMP-A6 is now my main streamer. Now I hear the DMP-A8 will be coming out soon.
