Logic does actually have a feature where you can sing in a melody and then convert those notes to midi. You do obviously have to be on key when humming or singing the notes but it actually works pretty well.

Ive have a Fairlight voicetracker... Been using it for triggering its "analog"onboard synth, and also outputting midi for more than 30 years... At least now theres actually been a extension on the technology.. and affordable.

No that’s actually the sample rate from logic not being set really low and the video exaggerating the effect.

The microphone doesn't record, its a midi instrument

@@VICKERY- Nope not really. Internally it has to record audio first and create finally a midi note. But it does it very quickly with almost no latency and that is its advantage
