Javazons are my favorite build to play with in D2. They have so many different endgame gear options to choose from, and even with garbage gear they still do Hell cows very well.

the top cracked javazon players use either spirit or 4x 5/5 light in jmod/life 4os monarch. Phoenix is a waste of potential fury dmg increase. Also using phoenix for mana purposes is like staying within the cozy and warm bed. If you wanna get the best results, you need to get out of that comfort zone being needing to manage your mana wisely without that redemption aura. Either you throw your fury precisely in good moments and occasionally just pick up mana potions laying around, or just get silkweave boots. Alongside with titans, phoenix is just a lazy cookie cutter. Maxing out fury potential = tstrokes or 6/40 paired with 4x 5/5 light jmod or spirit. And yeah. Your fury dmg output is 3k. With my setup without the light jmod i reach 4k, and with jmod 4500. Its enough for low player counts, but It would really slow you down if you tried to speedrun p8 terror zones on ladder reset for 99. Funfact, as a top5 amazon on this ladder, Aureola, I grinded the 99 using 4os shield socketed with 15ias jewels. 60ias from shield, 15 ias from tstrokes, 2/20 or 3/20 gloves and you hit the max 95 ias breakpoint. Compared with razortail it just melted the whole screen. So definitely there are some possibilities to bring the javazon to a whole new level

that's why i have jmod on main and phoenix on swap with cta. when i need mana or some healing i just swap around wait a sec for the aura to do it's thing and i'm back to full.

@luizfelipegiordano2835 the strongest stat for lighting sorc and lighting jav is -enemy light res. On my light sorc I use Griff with 5/5 facet and crescent moon runeword and on Java Griff with 15/15 and jewelers armor of the whale and jmod with 8x 5/5. The highest damage build uses the extra skill on 3/20s over other stats. The Java doesn't really have much physical damage and for normal pvm it doesn't need cb. You explode the entire screen anyway

Good one. After watching tons of videos I tried multiple variations cause everyone used different gear .i wanted to combine damage with kill speed plus having MF. And finally i can say this was the best one cause you go straight to the point. and the gear you use its almost the same. I prefer razortail and as for rings i use 1 soj. I do have 2/20 gloves.

i use wizardspike + spirit in the secundary weapond slots for reach a better fcr breakpoint, so i can teleport faster. also highlord give you a extra IAS is better than mara and the 30% LR help you to cancel the sunder malus, for last i prefer a yellow boots with tri ress and FRW, or 50FR Aldur is you need cap fire resist when you have SS after craft you pheonix

Phoenix should be on switch. Only switch when you need mana. This way you can use jmod or even spirit monarch. Also a rare 4-40 maiden, ias breakpoints are very important to hit. You really should be using razor tail as well, get that pierce which will increase your kill speed by a huge amount.

As good as razortail is with the piercing, it's still shadowed by tgod's, for all around.. Fury won't always keep you from close quarters, and the lightning absorb is essential for soaking alot of damage.. (souls/light enchanted/Diablo pink poop) But for cows? I suppose yeah 😅

I actually changed my single player javazon over to Infinity spearzon, and never looked back, but before that I was always a bit thorn on the shield slot. I have a 3os Headhunters Glory shield, and also 15% ias + MPK jewel that I haven't commited to actually socketing, but was very tempted to, as it can sit nicely halfway between damage and sustainability. I'm the last 10% xp aways from hitting 99 on said spearzon, and once that's done I'll probably roll up a bowazon and maybe another javazon even.

any tips on how to beat nightmare Mephisto with a Lightning Fury Amazon? at this point i have no access to sundering charms or infinity, and my merc is completely helpless against him. i've tried a few tactics with no success so far... i could spend two respecs to beat him with a completely diferent build and back, but of course i'd rather not spend them... there must be some other way, right?

I guess you fixed it already, but you need charged strike for bosses. Or crushing blow (hone sundan gives you 45%, and can take advantage of jav/spear tree skills. Impale is pretty powerful now!)

Pretty amazing clear speed for players 7. A fully geared Javazon is great for key farming. Throw a Nature's peace ring on and she'll own Nihlathak in seconds.

Great video as always. As ladder reset incoming, contemplating to go with the javazon build in HC :) A bit of extra i use with the javazon is: Demon Limb: cast lvl23 enchant to both me and Emilio, more damage, also it is fire damage. Life tap charged wand (can be bought hell act2 from Drognan, lvl4 life tap 90 charges). Makes Emilio's survivability much higher, also can leech life for ourselves if needed.

Javazons are extremely powerfull. Great aoe and single target damage. Clear speed is amazing. This build can work even with budget gear and still shine. Only bad think are lighting immunes, but you can still deal with it. Also teleport frames are bad, but this is actually good, because there must be at least some weakness 😀

Underrated option for the shield; 3os Headhunters glory with lightning facets or 15 ias facets with res/other useful mods. T-gods over anything unless Buged belt. That light absorb, smile and stats are amazing. ~70% pierce is enough. Highlords or a good craft/rare amu with res+stats over maras imho. Stack your res with scs. Tri-res boots over WT and silk, much rather spam potions but ML is usually enough if you got a good DL ring, rare gloves or crafted boots with ML on them.

I tried this earlier and even now again and I personally find that Phoenix is not a good option for the Amazon. There are three reasons for this, one is that you lack the resistances, second, you lack the FCR for teleporting with Enigma, and third you lack the +2 to all skills that Spirit all has. There is no other viable option than Spirit for the Javazon. Put Insight on your merc, and you will not have any Mana issues and if you have a Sunder, immunities just melt with just Tstroke and Griffons. I love Phoenix and I find it is one of the best items in the game, but the only two builds that I have found that can really use it to its potential is the Fire Druid and the dual spec Trapsin as she Fade to counteract the lack of resistances and can use the fire benefits to crush anything with fireblast on top of lightning traps. This combo works very well with Phoenix and Flickering flame where fireblast just destroys everything that with one blast that the lightning traps do not destroy.

not sure if you are still interested, but yes there is a small physical portion. Mostly lightning though. Highly recommend you try the amazon tho, its my favorite class :D Multishot is fun too, but javazon is just the best.

how about ias frame rate? cats eye instead of mara, and ias jool in griffon. With ias gloves it gives you 55ias so lightning fury in 10 frames. To reach higher frame rate you need either shield with ias jools or 40ias weapon. good budget version is to have wand with lower res charges and if you dont have griffon yet for example armor/shield with 4 facets (even 3/3) makes the job. razortail is a game changer, just try it and don't forget about frw - put as many frw charms as you can, aldur boots is also fine ;) amazon has avoid skills, and because of this she is good even with all res -100 if you have troubles anywhere just put 1 point in decoy/valkyrie, eg. place decoy in the middle of spawning point in baal run, hide to not get curse from baal and spam lightning fury its good to play with some friends, eg if you dont have infinity a paladin with conviction makes the game

Great video, I really wish my Javazon was doing this! Just got to Hell and hitting a brick wall. Every thing is lightning immune and I get wrecked by some mobs. Was hoping to do Countess runs so I can start running better runewords, but it's just brutal. Playing solo self-found LOD (don't have D2R) and tried to go with safety off of what I had but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm running Iratha's set along with Titan's, Rhyme shield, Manald and some random stuff to up my resistances and hit a few breakpoints. I haven't found Raven Frost or a four open socket shield yet, but I'm thinking about going back to NM to grind for Raven and make a Spirit Shield. Any other advice anyone can give would be awesome. Thanks!

If you haven't already cleared Hell Baal to unlock Terror Zones, make that your priority. Things to make your life incredibly easy to get that done would be to shop for a Lower Resist wand from Akara and a staff with Teleport charges on it. (Lower Resist helps with elite/champion packs that are immune to Lightning, and makes bosses melt via charged strike). If you're struggling with Hell Ancients, there are a lot of great guides on here on how to cheese the fight. Once Hell Baal is dead, plant your ass in Hell Cows and get comfy because it's going to be your new home for a while.

@@Cendir320 Thanks for the info, but I don't have D2R so no Terror Zones for me. I do have a lower resist wand and it helps with some mobs, but others are unbreakable. Maybe I just have bad luck but there's been times I've gone on a map and had nothing but mobs of light immunes where half are unbreakable. I'm doing nothing but running! XD

If there are only a few enemies I do better just physically attacking (or really tanking for the merc to physically attack since he hits harder than I do with physical).

If you have the Griffon's eye and a crack of the heavens charm, you can burn through light immunes pretty quickly. Yeah, it REALLY sucks when you run into gloams, and it's burned me more than once (actually lost some ethereal TR's because of it, grrrrr), but that's why it's a glass cannon!

Just keep at it in the Terror zones, you don't have to set a high player count since you're going for champions/uniques.

my bnet javazon is pretty much geared up as much as it gets. griffon with 15/14 jool, highlords, eth titans on mainhand and one extra in the cube, jewelers great hauberg of the whale with 4x 5/5 facets, jmod with 4x 5/5 facets, 2/20 gloves, razortail, raven+soj, 30/10 tri res boots and the obligatory cta with a phoenix monarch on swap. when i run out of mana i swap weapons and get regen from the aura. inventory is full with fhr and life skillers and 5/5 fhr/allres scs and i guess 1 5@/19 lifer, anni, sunder and torch ofc. well and a gheed cause i wanted some mf at least. she reaches the fhr breakpoint at 86 and has like 3k life. this build destroys hell.

Mana leech works on all hits. The titans indeed replenish the quantity, that is why some people prefer etheral version because of the dmg boost. But I like spamming the jawelins, so it doesnt replenish as fast, I stick to regular titans

I always prefer using a Highlords over any other amulet because of the IAS and lightning res. I know you dont have a wisp yet but, i prefer to use that as my second ring for the lightning absorb, along with T-gods, you really dont have to worry much about having max lightning res against souls. I would take 1/20 or 2/10 java gloves over the ones youre using. For boots, i have almost always used gore riders. I know you dont necessarily need them because charged strike chops down bosses pretty fast, but its nice seeing a chunk of health disappear due to crushing blow. I always make sure to spec at least one point into valk, the extra target for monsters to smack is really helpful. Phoenix is definitely a must have for me :)

DPS favours skills over the AS of Highlords. With some 20/3 or 20/2 gloves she along with Husltle, easily her best non-enigma armor, she hits the only breakpoints she needs. Play with the DPS calculator on Maxroll.

I still consider Phoenix a "wasted" slot. It prevents you from getting res, skills und facets. Maybe a jeweller's monarch of simplicity is the way to go, put an UM Rune in, if you need and facets. Maybe even sunder charm + insight is better than Phoenix + Infinity, but that's debatable. Cta is nice, but to me, Teleport on swap also is okay, opens up another slot for facets again. Still, Enigma is very hard to get by with few, the res, the mf...

Javas are mana guzzlers so Phoenix is a great quality of life item if you don't want to worry about chugging mana pots constantly. It opens up the merc wep slot away from insight.

1:20. 37% block.. rebuild that. 😂 Block negates damage.. pincushion! 🤙✌️ Also, it doesnt matter how good a spirit "can be". A stormie on a javazon is godmode. Ias jeweled. Survivability is where a zon shines, high dex/block, evade, dodge, avoid... This character is a soaker. If you play ladder, in a group setting, the javazon is gonna be the best tanky soaker.. Season 2... I ran our groups runs.. sorcs would tele, and i run in and tank bosses so they didnt destroy all the glass cannons at start.. The other benefit for rolling this character first on ladder, cow runs, shenk, pindle, arcane sanct. Its a great farmer... And charged strike just obliterates. On my build i sacrificed lightning bolt.. (1 base). I chose impale (always hits) and base guided/multishot.. (to be able to clone/uber also) (minor gear swap to absorbs and CB) I run atmas for the amp proc and bow for proc/range. (before light sunder to take immunes) Great budget items usually not considered for leveling... Lava gout, najs light plate, rhyme grim shield. 😂 A pair of rare gloves.. 20 ias, 2 java skill, 3% mana leech, Str 10+. Will be your best friend.. (frost nova on proc = even better) Sidenote: if you're gonna use the infinity merc, a consideration to make is using a swap bow with insight, to Regen mana.. Unless metalgrid? 😂 Redemption loses ias slot 😢

this build is far too common. Java like that might be solid but its just faaaar too slow. Put some 4/40, spirit, griffon make some nice fcr bp, fcr rings with ml, to help reach 99/99, amazing fcr and ias, tele, spam javs, easy. time is key in build like that, you spent half day of waiting for tele and cast your skills with no ias

Awful build tbh, yeah it'll still wreck because javazons are op. Phoenix is a QoL option, nothing more. If you MUST use it, keep it on switch (although mana can be kept up with proper ml and/or maek). Maras wtf. You have 20 ias and 25 fcr smh. Both razortail and arach are superior options, depending on where you're running and preference.
