With 30 million, I can build 3 storey building. I travelled recently and I saw a lot of beautiful architectural buildings built with less than 30m.

It's criminals that steal the money that would waste money like that, of course. Idiots everywhere!

I am concerned why Nigeria ( and by extension the real estate practitioners and investors) can't get away from using the generator as a source of electricity! Apart from the grating noise, the fumes and the smell of petrol can be debilitating to people's health! Can't they utilise solar energy? What about windmills? Abuja has enough daylight that can be utilised to generate power!!

Finally this developers have lost it. Approx $40k USD per annum is insane for a country where min wage is less than $100 USD. This goes to show that a lot no longer work in Nigeria. I guarantee that no foreign organization will rent that place for their expats, because the price is insane and they budget for these things based on local market. Go there in two months all you'll find is sugar daddies and their babies. You talk about offices in Wuse 2, how many of the people in those offices earns naira 150M net per annum. Nigeria sha we like to deceive ourselve.

The people who'll live here are probably expatriates or cooperate bosses who favor it for it's exclusivity for a person whose children school abroad or are in high end schools it's an expense that's worth it

For all does complaining about the price, lets do the Math. A serviced Apartment like this in wuse 2 can go upto 200k per day. Multiply 200k by 30 days, that amounts to 6million. Now multiply 6M by 12 months, that is 72Million naira per year if it was given on a daily rate.

Nobody in their right mind, who have earned their keep books a serviced apartment for a long stay. Those are usually for short stay. Stop defending the indefensible.

Thank you!! Nigerian prices and thinking makes me think something is wrong with me sometimes. Why would l pay 65 thousand dollars rent for apartment for a year when that would build a full house in suleja or other area nearby, and it's mine forever?

@@suntanglory same way someone in the village will not make sense of you paying a rent of 2million here in Abuja. They would say they would rather carry that money to build a 3bedroom bungalow in the village. My point is there are different products/services for different classes of people. N20million is little or nothing to people who will pay for that place. And you have to respect their choices afterall, same way they have respected yours.

@@Kelvinatie Yeah, l love to see the dangote and otedola that's going to live there. No mate, l don't agree with you neither your analogy here. How much do you and majority of Nigerians earn/make per month or anually, if l may ask? This sort of thinking is the reason Nigeria is getting worse by the day. Prices are based on the national output and investment of a countries not by what someone feel like asking. If you rent that house in Central London, maybe, just maybe you'll have an explanation for it. Central London, the financial capital of Europe, people living here earn that sort of money and more weekly or monthly. Central London, the capital of the UK, the 6th largest economy in the world, with gross nation output of 31 billion per day etc. That would be understandable. Why are prices in Nigeria higher than in Central London? With all the unemployed,Nigeria the poverty capital of the world, lack of basic infrastructure, no electricity, no decent road from that Abuja to anywhere ? It's nothing but greed and the lack of government regulation. I won't pay 65 thousand dollars rent here in England, why would l pay that in Nigeria? How many houses are charging 65 thousand dollar rent per year in the UK? And for an apartment that size? Probably none.

For USD 40,000 …I will just add it up to 50,000 and rent a penthouse in palm island Dubai. $40,000 annually…That’s expensive anywhere in the world not to mention a third world country in Africa.

It's insane, the most shocking aspect is that Nigeria is not positioned economically to attract such rental price tag even from expats and tourists. A lot of smokes and fires in Nigeria.

The Math is not Mathing...This must be a mistake. Expatriate Maka cannot pay these prices. Or is this rent for a decade? The apartments look beautiful and comfortable but you need to do the math and change the screen.

Too expensive even for foreigners. This is almost $40k per annum. You'll pay way less than that for equivalent property in a western nation. Heck that'll get you a pent house in less developed cities in western countries.
