lol. weird jab. I think Arvin knows how much effort it takes to make the video, he just critiques the actual house, where you're there to only show the pretty fluff of it
@deanchurАй бұрын
Who told you that was a Japanese tea room? That room is about as Japanese as a Dodge Hellcat. Traditional East Asian is very minimalist and natural; that room (and the whole house to an extent) is almost maximalist, there's a LOT going on.

I think Arvin should let the video stay untuched for at least one year, then he can critic them! I didn't even see half of his video this time as I did sooo not agree. Most of the time i nodd as .. yeah, that seemscright, butbthis time it felt like he was criticing Enez and that just makes him a pitty man. If I was ritch I would feel soo much piece in this house. I don't give a shit about bookmark marbel and Ferrari pillows. That does not make a house a home. But this is a home for sure!!!! Love it! And love your video Enez!!!

@remyasmar4189 күн бұрын
I did watch Enes' video among others and one thing that was brought to my attention is that there are no powder rooms on the front of the home's ground floor or any on the grounds and that the swimming pool looks like a good part of it is above ground; personally I would swap the dinning room with the den so that it would be closer to the kitchen and the rooftop is an overkill that I would of preferred a full floor primary master bedroom that has it all or a series of staff quarter suites instead. I'm in love with this property but I'm a bit surprised that at that price that others noticed many flaws with this masterpiece. Come on Powerball!!
@jameskiehm546Ай бұрын
Yes Scott, you’re absolutely correct with the size of staff. Cleaning, cooking, general maintenance, lights, fire features, landscaping. Then people fixing all the mechanicals like the 30ft. Doors etc. the other issue, will they turn on all the lights? Maybe because if it’s not completely lit, it would be creepy to move from one side of the house to the other.
@PSPguy2Ай бұрын
Anyone owning a property this size with all these features would have a large staff, including a full-time maintenance engineer to keep things operational and fix any issues. Also, although I appreciate architecture and think this house is spectacular, I would never want to live where I could never be completely alone due to staff always around somewhere. I like my freedom and privacy way too much to give up!
@jameskiehm546Ай бұрын
Thanks Scott. This is a piece of art but I find it so busy I doubt I could ever feel rested in it. I also wonder if I’d feel secure. I would be concerned I left doors open or fire pit on. Just overwhelming. Last, these large homes have so many seating areas I could anticipate fights over where to sit. I want to sit here, no I want to sit over there…I want to sit inside, no I want to sit outside.

And noone does the cameawork like him. But Enez's videoes are AMAZING!!!! I would so buy this house unseen!!!! Well... I have seen it through Emez eyes 😂... This is a masterpiece. You can absolutely have a family there!!!!! I can feel the soul of this house all the way to Norway❤. All though LA is the last place on earth I would live I would so be on a plane to USA now if I was a rich bitch! But I would have a contract that the developer has to fix like doir jams or water problems for 10 years. Or I would the the soul behind this masterpiece to build me something in Stockholm, Sweden! That is my fav place. Enez should really go there and look at homes. And come to Norway and look at cottages.

It’s very nice and “warm” for an LA mega mansion. Not your usual stark and soulless glass, concrete and steel box, like The One for instance. And it’s mostly done in good taste I think too. But as you said, the constant upkeep required for such a huge and complex property, is going to be a privacy issue for the owners, if they want to live there on a permanent basis. But that’s unlikely. An owner of such a property may live there for say a few weeks and then move on to another property they own. So for those few weeks, it can afford not to be “up-kept” I suppose 🤷♂️

This is the house that has an amazing, separate entry office, that you still have to walk through the house to use the bathroom. 24 bathrooms, and you still didn't remember to put ONE in the private office. Oh, there are plenty of flaws. The price is the first one. It's a bit odd and eclectic, for lack of a better word. I can't imagine living in this on a day to day basis would appeal to most people. Thank you for yet another great video - your channel really deserves to get much bigger! As for the house I am surprised that you and others give it so much praise. It is gimmicky and very busy, kind of like an artistic persons trailer home, on which all kinds of stuff has been put up over the years... And everywhere this “art” which is mostly just space fillers. That and the ubiquitous pots on top of books (“No, no, we don't read them.”) show a lack of cultural interest and is so typical of the US West Coast. Finally: Yes, nature is nice but do we really want it “leaning” on the house, especially when large portions of the outer walls are supposed to be opened up? Insects, anyone? Just imagine what could infest that cluttered spa area, for instance. You have done excellent reporting on The One and compared to the properties in this and other videos you have posted lately, it looks more and more like a steal, even if it isn't to my taste.

The developer Ardy Tavagarian Villa Siena is a beautiful modern mansion that has a nice floor layout and nice interior decoration, I like the the kitchen, the master bedroom, master bathroom, and master closet. I like the balconies and the lap pool. I think Villa Siena is overpriced because the lot quality is average, because the driveway is in the back of the house and the city view is not great . For me a $100 million house should have 4 to 7 acres of land so I can have a big garden or multiple gardens. Villa Siena is not even 1 acre of land. Scott as an investment the $186 million Rothko painting is a better investment than the $177 million Villa Siena because the tax on the painting is lower than the mansion, the cost of insurance is lower, and the cost of maintenance is lower. I can be move the painting to a Swiss bank vault to protect my assets, I can not move Villa Siena .

You're shocked he sat down with Enes? Enes gets paid for the videos he does and that why he only say nice things. That place is way too personalized I suspect it's gonna be on the market for a long long time. The major elephant in the room flaw is the unusual style itself. People buy a house they wanna decorate it themselves ESPECIALLY at this price point and the decor here is bolted down and not subject to change unless there's a massive reno. Funny nobody can say anything bad about it....Enes, Arvin...yourself with vidoes all coming out in tandem. Wouldn't doubt if you're all paid.

Yeah good luck trying to sell a house like it is one of a the most expensive paintings in the world. There are so many things wrong with this comparison. The reality is, in the end, people dont buy houses like they do paintings. That's just they way it is. They are trying to sell a 177m usd house that looks like an ok hotel, no views, that seems dark even during the day, a pretty weak swimming pool, over the top everything that the owner will want to customise anyway, next door to a construction site. I dont see how it does not end up being a total financial disaster.
