(Intro - I meant Europe, not Germany) The video is about "no-go zone" areas that are based on crime and race. Of course, there are going to be references to each of them. I get that people are uncomfortable with white people, particularly English people, being proud of their Englishness. Like everyone else should be though, I’m proud of my heritage. Love it or loath it, people from these islands have shaped the world we live in today. As you’ll see in the video, I say everyone I met was friendly in Alum Rock and that people coming here to improve their lives is something beautiful about our nation. It’s not racist to think England should at least resemble something English. My main criticism of the areas I went to is that they are filthy. Do I think we should be living in massive segregated areas? No, I don’t. I don’t see it ending in a way any of us want. You can take the video for what it is (a KZbin video), but the reality is there is an underlying problem in our towns and cities that have these segregated areas for living based on different races and religions. Also, it’s me who edits the videos. That might tell you something about why I left that white guy starting on me in. If I had an agenda of promoting white people, you’d think the people I showed wouldn’t be homeless or aggressive drunks. I have no problem with anyone because of their race or religion. Feeling culturally misplaced in my own country isn’t my favorite feeling, and I won’t pretend it is. Thanks for watching.

I've asked them why and if they've had any negative or overtly racist experiences and all they can tell me is that people "stare at them " and look unfriendly. I've been in "Asian" areas and have been refused service in shops, had food and cutlery thrown at me in restaurants. I've also been physically attacked on a bus and the tube in London by Afro-Carribean men. Apparently, these are not examples of racism. Disease rampant along side destitution, drinking, drug taking and prostitution. English and Irish poor. The black country gets its name from how dirty it was. This idea thst England was this lovely rosie place is a myth. They get you by showing videos or photos of brand new built post war housing estates when they are still clean and in the boom years of the 50s. They all soon turned into shit holes when the economy slumped. I think the racial/cultural narrative skirt around or hint at throughout makes your video come across as it has an agenda. Have you read up why since the late 60s there are areas where it's racially segregated in make up? Because the councils used to deliberately put migrants together in poor areas and in areas like Aston, alot of whites moved out partly due to prejudice but also due to their better employment they had, many moving to the villages in the West Midlands. Poverty and history need to be taken into account when you judge these places, rather than make solely about race and/or culture. I moved to Newtown/lozells mid 90's and am white, regularly there or in Aston, Witton, nechells or Erdington and there is no such thing as a no go zone in terms of race. It's inner city, it's poor, it's rough, it's crime riddled. That's inner city, nothing to do with race. Go inner city northern estates and it'll be similar. There's different parts developed over last 10+ years where there's a more Asian population and the other a more black population. This is partly to do with the housing, redevelopment and also an after effects of the incidents between the two communities in 2005. Whilst great work was done to repair lot of the damage there's obviously still some fear/anger/resentment from some as well as newcomers believing there's a divide. In my day we all one side, now the Asian youngers do their own thing but that just means they fighting other Asians from areas like Alum Rock not the black or white youngers from by them. And the predominantly black gangs in the areas I mentioned fight other mainly black gangs in the areas you went to in your second day and Handsworth, ladywood... I go Alum Rock regularly too, some of the food places are the best in brum. There's a social club out from the central bit you was at that I go to often on a weekend. I think this all the time. I'm from Birmingham, but live in London. In London, the most expensive housing is normally in the areas with lots of period housing. A lot of inner city Birmingham streets have nice period housing, but the people in some areas don't look after their areas so they become run down. If people took civil pride in their areas, rather than pride in their post code, it would make a huge difference.

I'm from Birmingham and I love my city, it's a shame to see it looking like that it's not how i remember it, but you can't just blame the recent influx of immigrants that came with the EU debacle this comes from early racism in the 50's 60's 70's and 80's causing people to stick with their own communities particularly the Asian communities, through fear of beatings and intimidation you had no go areas for people of colour such as North field king standing Billesley and most of the black country. People make the mistake of thinking a lot of the black gangs started because of drugs where as quite a few of them were merely for protection if they wanted to go out and party like normal people. Another factor in this segregation problem is the council housing people only in certain areas not sure if this is still going on but this was going on for years if you lived in Balsall heath you would rarely get to move to kings heath or Acocks Green for example, people of colour were put into areas such as Balsall heath Handsworth ladywood and such and then the areas were neglected when it came time for the council to do something about these places they knocked down the housing moved the people out and then moved different people in who got nicer places to live in than the previous residents who suffered there many of them suffering in poverty. There are many places and many people in Birmingham the majority of both are nice it's just been neglected by successive governments!

I was a caretaker for a housing estate in Alum Rock back in 2003. It was a dump, it was dirty, it felt very unsafe on the main high street. Probably it's much worse again now. The state that some of the properties were left in was atrocious and we had to wear full hazard protection to clear them out. Many tenants would pretend to not speak English until they needed a free repair on their property. I often had to clean off anti-white racist graffiti from walls

I agree with a lot of what this young lad is saying. We live in Britain which is BROKEN. We live in a multy cultural country/countries as there is 4 countries in the UK/Britain and in the huge cities like Brummie land (Birmingham, where I have relatives) London, Liverpool and Manchester amongst others is where most of the other nationals live and very sadly we have lost over 80% of the British and here in England's culture, values and principles, the way our country was many many years ago before we became 'broken Britain'. I turn 60 this year so I have watched this country going fast in a downward spiral and we should never of allowed so many illegal imigrants to live and work here because now wea are also, if not already an over populated small continent, the UK.
@Sir.T4 ай бұрын
Immigrants take up about 16% of the total population. Illegal immigrants is much much less. I agree that they need to deal with the illegal immigrants but legal immigration has benefitted Britain. The sole reason for Great Britain's demise is the Government, not immigrants. The gov control the boarders, the system, cost of living and so on. If all illegal immigrants were deported tomorrow it wouldn't stop the issues we still have in this country, it would definitely help but we would still have the poor living standards, crime, over run NSH & practically every other problem we have today.
