One thing nobody seems to mention is the effect of drugs on people’s minds. Ask Dr. Phil : drugs rewire peoples brains. And if Kurt already had tendencies towards mental illness, it’s not surprising that he unfortunately killed himself due to the drugs. The psychology of what happened is not complete without some blame being put on drugs. The idea that he was just star struck and couldn’t handle it was just a cop out on his part.
