Simply epic .... watching the stadium emerge from a design and a shovel in the ground makes you appreciate the work and efforts that go into such a project. Often overlooked with such a mammoth undertaking.

As a kid, my father and brother used to enjoy freezing our asses off in the old War Memorial Stadium. That's how it's done in Buffalo (and Green Bay too!). GO BILLS !

What does BILLS Mafia want for Christmas? a 3D holographic Buffalo herd similar to the Panther in Carolina. Fine, this is a wish list. You've got to admit they're not bad ideas.

Will there be a "final" tour time for the "Ralph" / Rich stadium & new tours of the new HIGH MARK stadium. Please allow all kinds of selfie sticks for videos. The BILLS have to make a little money if they open up tours to the old & new stadium. GO BILLS

I am hoping the Bills will have something special at the new stadium that Bills Mafia from everywhere can be part of....a fan brick walkway, a fan "name" wall inside the stadium, our names in a digital directory, or a data disk with our names included for a stadium time capsule.

I call BS, Why not we actually have a stadium in the city of Buffalo? The stadium is in the town of Orchard Park . And last but not lease. Do we still have to shovel snow at our seats? 😅

"I don't know if there's been a bigger project in the city of Buffalo"? Oh I don't know, how about the Bethlehem Steel plant, the largest in the world. they only employed 20,000 people for decades. Or maybe Republic Steel or the GM foundry. Those places actually produce income for thousands and thousands of people. Not like this vanity project for a billionaire.
@ChubbyJontheBartender2 сағат бұрын
The cost of the Lackawanna plant in today's dollars is not even half of the stadium cost. It's impact was great and far reaching, but as far as a construction project goes, the stadium dwarfs just about anything in the region outside of the entire Erie Canal.
@avisitorhere2 сағат бұрын
@@ChubbyJontheBartender That was kind of my point. The stadium is just a vanity project for the rich. What does NY and their $850 million taxpayer expense really get for it? This is not just a NY problem, its national. Basically the rich holding locations hostage unless you fill their coffers. Heh, give us money or we'll go down the road. It should be illegal. We're just competing against ourselves to the benefit of the well off. And this is economics, not political.
@avisitorhereСағат бұрын
@@ChubbyJontheBartender That was kind of my point. Bethlehem Steel and the other big plants had a low cost compared to the huge economic benefit to the whole community. Bills Stadium has very high costs and little economic impact on the community.
@avisitorhereСағат бұрын
@@ChubbyJontheBartender Cost of Lackawana plant in the 1920's $100 million which in todays dollars is $1.8 billion. Bills stadium and its cost overruns is $2.1 billion and growing. That's not even including the port, rail lines or utilities infrastructure to keep a plant that size going. There's no comparison.
@ChubbyJontheBartenderСағат бұрын
@avisitorhere not sure where you got your info but we have differing sources, and conversions to todays dollars. Either way, the new stadium is happening. Bethlehem Steel failed, let’s all move on. Go Bills.

What's sad to me is why not build a retractable dome. Play with open when you want or can and close it for special events or a Super Bowl. At 1.8 Billion it should have been a dome. I do look forward to seeing it completed and I will attend a game and I will be able to say I have watched the Bills play in 3 different home stadiums in my life.
@seabassisagod8 сағат бұрын
buffalo likes their weather. not many teams besides a few get to play in the snow. we are used to it. if you are a true buffalonian then the snow is no problem for you.
@Khalrua8 сағат бұрын
A Super Bowl? You have to have the hotel space in the local area in order to even be considered for something like that. Even if the bills had a super stadium of the future with the best domed stadium to ever exist- they’d still never have the bills on a list of possible sites. It Will Never Happen. Buffalo isnt big enough. But damn it all it’s my wonderful home.

If everybody knew how Buffalo really was it probably would become the biggest city in the world I mean my friend who lived here came home just to visit for a few months from Florida he ended up having to move back though but he said he end up staying for 6 years he said he just couldn't believe how great living in Buffalo was regardless of the winners he said it was just a great place to live everybody so easy to meet people and friends but he had to move back to Pensacola because his family had a death that he had to go in and be a permanent help with a family business or something but anyways he said that he couldn't see if people more people visited Buffalo it would probably have a lot more people stay I told him it was a lot of the job loss that people end up leaving Pat if you build it they will come if you build it they will come you make the jobs you build them and the people come for them
