Thank you Mo, for showing Chatty Cathy, the most memorable Mattel doll---after Barbie. You should have said her name though! I saw Matty Mattel and his Sister Belle too, more of the Mattel Chatty dolls. . .

I had a summer job in 1966 working at Mattel toys factory in hawthorn Calif I was working on the Barbie line where they were sewing Barbie hair onto her head I had to load big spoons of thread on the sewing machines…it was a fun job…they had a nice employee cafeteria and employee store..every one in a while I would see the owners Ruth and Elliott handler in the cafeteria in the morning they would buy the employees breakfast also got to meet the super model twiggy she was touring the factory because they were making a twiggy doll…the next summer I worked in the warehouse another fun job…was drafted into the army early 1968.. my short lived Mattel career was over…great memories working at Mattel…

Mattel - I am insulted I bought the forza set for my sons and managed to find a falcon. The card pack was damaged but rest seemed ok. My son opened it and realise the axle was bent and the wheel wouldn't go around. I emailed Mattel and there have been some emails back and for but in honest opinion they are unprofessional!!! They finally get my picture of the car as proof. And then they say they can't replace it for the same car !!!! How ??? I have come home today to these two regular cars for a hard to get chase car. My son as them and I feel insulted. We have thousands of cars , track , garages , character cars , and more. My future of buying anything from Mattel will be a second thought if that's what they are trying to palm me off with. Disgusting
