People need to be realistic, the days of insanely cheap credit is over. People are focused on paying off their debts. Red flags to watch out for: Rolexs sitting in the window (or websites) for months and months and months when they would sell in days/weeks.

Good content from a dealer who has survived the crash and still trading profitably. There's still demand for these pieces but April 22 prices aren't coming back. The watch gamblers are under water and the field is clear for collectors and people who just love the watches.

Love your content. I agree 100pc; if you want a Blue SS Sky Dweller, then you are best going straight to grey. It's ridiculously hard to acquire without a tremendous spend history at an AD. Absolutely gorgeous piece on jubilee!

I have never paid more than retail for any of my steel rolexes, often slightly below. If everyone refused to pay above retail, the flippers and chancers would disappear and there would be plenty of stock available. The grey market dealers would then be able to buy at a good price and sell at a good price like it used to be. The grey market is flooded with so-called ‘hard to get’ watches at ridiculous prices. Stop paying above retail and the prices will fall dramatically. It’s as simple as that.

Really interesting points on the Deep-Sea Challenge. Supply seems very tight, yet many buyers of high-demand models don't seem overly keen on it. To me, this has the makings of a highly collectible model in say 10 years from now. If low demand eventually results in discontinuation, this seems like a model that could skyrocket in value?

What I don't understand is , watch dealers I have dealt with say " always ignore Chrono24 " especially when selling. But every watch KZbinr dealer compares prices on Chrono24 charts? How do you get a true value of your watch?

Fed revising entire concept of where neutral rate is. watch prices will be in decline for YEARS. anyone wanting a watch that was $15K and is now around $10K can simply wait a year and pick it up for $3-4K. Where we're going, no one's gonna give a shit about toys/accessories. that said, lovely vid.

PRO TIP: many, and i mean MANY watch dealers who loaded up on inventory gorging on cheap debt...wait till the dominos start falling and buy watches from them by the KILOGRAM. U: "Ill take these handful of Rolex's", dealer: "that comes to 800 grams @ $1000/gram", so u end up paying 8K for 4-5 Rolis. good deal. Omega's will go for Swatch like prices.

I buy all my steel sports Rolex at retail from the proper supplier the AD. Pepsi, Sub, Explorer and would never pay a penny over. The grey watch market profits are finally dead. Rolex karma has come true for them as a brand and why the hell would they want third party salesmen profiting on their brand, hardware, manufacturing as a pass through, pass between quick profit that they have manufactured and built a reputation on.
