Property Description: Previously a dated home with no curb appeal near Bath, UK, Susanna and her husband bought the home and spent 2 years renovating it into the perfect family home. With spacious and light interiors that were inspired from Susanna's Nordic childhood, the home has been transformed into a cosy and beautifully interior designed space with tall ceilings, characterful exposed beams, and lots of unique features. The exterior has also been transformed and cladded with striking black timber.

Best part is that it's not overly designed. They mix Ikea furniture with vintage fixtures and higher-end products. It's a lovely home that exudes warmth that most modern homes lack.

Fabulous design! You have amazing light and yet it’s very cozy with the warm wood colors and the textures on the chairs, sofas and beds. I would feel so free and content living in the tree house bedroom!!

Multiple "living rooms" (no matter how they are called by the owners based on their main purpose) prove that open concept is actually very livable, and lovely, and if done correctly, it can even provide enough privacy for different activities. I love the repetition of the bench element, the choice of colors, and the pantry/display element incorporated in the kitchen. Overall, the concept is very eye-pleasing and luxurious without the first-plan screaming "I am wealthy."

So lovely house... it's huge but so warm! And it does not feel so cold or clinical. I love the nordic touches and how well the spaces are thought of and the flow of traffic from each space is spectacular! Over all it creates a lovely home where luxury, style and warmth combines.

Now, this is beautiful. It's not bland but lots of character. You can tell the owner stamped her personality in that interior. The split level though is a bit of a challenge if you have bad knees or a good workout going up and down if you want to lose weight.
