Being born and breed in Norway living in the western part of our country i can comfirm we got a huge amount of tunnels. Most of the time we are looking at our country from the inside😂 .now at this moment we are working on building the worlds largest longest deepest undersea tunnel outside my hometown haugesund. Must say there are some foult in this episode.sorry for my bad english.

How can he give footage from a tunnel that does not exist?😆
@dieseldragon675610 ай бұрын
That's because the tunnel has been researched and approved by the Norwegian Government. The tunnel is now at the *Tendering* stage (Contract expected end 2024) and actual construction is likely to begin in 2025 or 26. 😇 Remember: *No* project of *any* government ever happens quickly. In the UK, for example, we had to wait for *over thirty years* before we finally got our first French-standard high-speed rail line... 🐌💨🇬🇧😉

We are going to build the world's very first full-scale ship tunnel! The tunnel will be 1.7 kilometers long (2.2 km including the entrance area), 50 meters high and with a width of 36 meters - which means that vessels up to the size of Kystruten and Hurtigruten will be able to safely sail past the challenging Stadlandet.
@taddinraleigh10 ай бұрын
At index 6:12 -- the project could cost up to 300 million dollars. This cost is much higher compared to the construction of the Norway Coastal Highway which only cost 47 BILLION Dollars
@dacheese138 ай бұрын
My friend you are comparing 1,330 kilometers of under water/floating highway, with essentially making a hole on a mountain. Of course the tunnel will be cheaper.

The first? In Weilburg there´s a ship tunnel, completed in 1847, still operational. It may be small, but the vessels on the river Lahn back then didn´t need more.
@dacheese138 ай бұрын
The first full scale! You missed the FULL SCALE. Weilburg's is only for row boats, and small vessels. On the Stad Ship Tunnel you will have freighters, cruisers even military ships using it, the difference in scale is enormous.

If it is the world's first full-size ship tunnel it is bound to be the biggest, and smallest.

Wish I had read your comment before wading through 7 minutes of irrrelevant rubbish. It isn't terribly dangerous. More people drown swimming on beaches in Australia in 5 years than died there in WW2.

A mere 25 seconds into the video, the voiceover states that Norway is located 1,000 kilometers west of Iceland. I don't think this is true. If Nauctis doesn't know the difference between west and east, one wonders what other things they get wrong.

Firstly, this title is a blatant lie and secondly, This project doesn't even exist yet so how can you go inside a tunnel that does not exist. One more thing: The whole of this project is still far off in the blue. The monkey government of Norway can't make up their mind. You have just proved that you are not a good researcher. Do a better job next time.

According to HM Government's website, the UK does not share a border with Norway. 🛂 However; Given the „trustworthiness“ of any British politician I'm far more inclined to believe what's stated at 00:25 than anything on Gov,UK. 🇬🇧🎰😉 Would anybody please mind telling me where that border is and how easy it is to cross, please? A large number of British citizens who've had their freedoms of movement stolen from them (And which also covers non-EU EEA countries 🇳🇴🇨🇭) would like to know... 🇪🇺🏃💨🇬🇧😉
