You are watching daily bald ( the second channel ) not bald and bankrupt! I have to write that because some people don't have the ability to differentiate. This channel: short, fun, random adventurising. Other channel: Mega journeys, history, interactions. Let's think of a strategy to stop the confusion so that I can post here more. Any ideas? Maybe drop 'bald' from the channel name.
@KOEKIELC3 жыл бұрын
grab a beer, (daily) bald is here Edit: Bald idk if you will read this, you wrote that daily bald is supposed to be: "short, fun, random adventurising". The problem is, except for short, those are exactly the reason why i personally love main bald channel. Mega journeys, history, interactions arent exclusive enough to exclude fun, random adventurising. Just brainstorming now, you seem to want to post more compact adventures of yours here - only post (for example) +-10 min videos on daily bald of some random encounters/thoughts that you absolutely loved but couldnt include in BnB videos(example your hospital story narration). - also your titles seem similar to BnB, exaggerate more, use more exclamtion points, weird(native to traveling countries language) words in it - same goes for thumbnails(seem similar to BnB). Maybe always put yourself smiling big, like your channel logo, on it - more frequent posts, not to pressure you ofcourse, but so people will start to notice, or get used to, the differences and not (only)go YEAH NEW BALD VIDEO - Use other means to differentiate Db style from BnB style. DB is more spontaneous whereas BnB has more of an elegant flow to it. So maybe use a more in your face approach for DB Hope this might help bald

Holy crap!!! My wife’s grandfather was born there (and was in the army in these barracks until 1918, joining thePolish army on independence. He was born in 1895. Under Polish partition, when Poland was partly ruled by Russia, ( Prussia and Austro Hungary) and didn’t exist as a nation for 123 years, Poles were encouraged to populate part of the Chinese borders to protect them. Better living conditions schooling and money were the incentive. His father a surveyor, helped build the trans Siberian railway as did he later on . I’m so excited to show my wife this! Thanks so much Mr Bald. Greetings from Catford in London 👍.

One of the many things I love about these vlogs is how it makes the viewer realize that these places aren't just spots on a map, or a line or two in a history or geography book, but places where people just like us wake up every morning, make breakfast, plan their days, and live their lives. The culture and laws there may be different than in, say, America or England (or wherever people are watching from), but the reality of life is the same. These are real people, and by watching your videos, it becomes easier to imagine being there as a member of their society. What a great adventure, and what a great way to become aware of life elsewhere! Thank you so much for not only these videos and what they teach us, but for the risks you take doing it, and the infectious joy you exude, so we get to experience it, too. Stay safe, dear man - you are a treasure.

So, these are actually the old Buildings(built in 1949) of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School, it wasn’t just a tank academy, it taught higher ranking officers in the Far East on how to work with other parts of the armed forces. They had 37 attendees awarded hero of the Soviet Union. And even had a former chief of the General staff attend. Be glad you didn’t stumble upon the new base, our you would have met some ‘friendly’ military police!

I'm sorry to be contrarian, but the abandoned buildings Bald visited belonged to the Higher Tank Command School and were built in 1958. Anyhow, Благове́щенск was (and probably is) quite an important military town for sure.

@@rjwusher Thank you, and thanks to @Daniel Julich too. Makes sense, that glorious stalin-classicism seemed a bit late (though not impossible) for 1968-69 -ish. @rjwusher3 жыл бұрын
@@Asptuber The information I found states the date of abandonment as 1999. Such a pity that these beautiful buildings (Bald has opened my eyes towards Soviet architecture) are just left to rot.
@Asptuber3 жыл бұрын
@@rjwusher Thanks. I agree, "stalinist-classicism" was/is woefully under appreciated. Coming from Western Europe it was a revelation to me that these types of buildings were being built in the 20th century. Unfortunately much of it is already gone. I especially like it when it isn't big and monumental (this one is nice and small-ish), but just everyday "a little better" apartment blocks. It compares very favourably with modern buildings of the same era in the West - proportions are more harmonious.

My ex wife grew up next to a military base in Albania which became abandoned in the 90s. She and her sisters would go exploring it and found grenades and mines just laying around. By the time I visited her home town, there was almost nothing left of the base.

What a glorious entrance to the military academy, knocking over the window. That’s EXACTLY how I rolled in my teen years. I’d still be doing it today if I didn’t have to live paycheck to paycheck, run errands for the family, solve everyday life problems and the like. Bald’s channel offer people like me comfort and hope. Some nostalgia too.

The scene in the window was absolutely hilarious in every way. The fact that you were awkwardly half way in. How it slowly fell. How you paused for so long to only quietly say, "oops". On a serious note that may have done some serious damage had it fallen on you, yikes.
