Theres a netflix documentary on her! The mystery was solved. She had severe mental health issues and a habbit of not taking her medication. She decided to stop taking her meds while on her trip and her mental health declined and she started to believe she was being followed. She stopped checking in with her parents. Eventually her paranoia got so bad that she climbed onto the roof, opened the water tank, and jumped in to hide in it. She started to drown in the tank and took off her clothes to make it easier to swim up. She drowned because she couldnt climb out. This is why mental health help is so important. She shouldnt have been allowed to go on that trip alone given her current mental state and known habits of stopping her medication. Edit: a lot of people are asking how she can open the solid metal water tank my herself. Science (psychology) has proven that with enough adrenaline and distress, a person can suddenly temporarily have super human powers. Adrenaline gives your body a sudden burst of energy combined with the distress telling your body to ignore your physical limitations in order to save yourself/other people has given some people temporary powers. Some stories where this has happened are usually mothers ripping cars apart with their bare hands to rescue trapped children inside. People have also been able to hang onto ledges and cliffs for long periods of time until rescued or swim for long periods of time until rescued. Elisa was clearly in distress and was probably so stressed and scared that she ran up to the roof, threw open the hatch of the tank, and jumped right in. If you havent seen the documentary, you really should. They analyze the video footage, including more footage that wasnt shown in this youtube video, and detectives interview all the hotel staff and other visitors that were at the hotel at the time of Elisa's death.

i’ve had so many dreams about the cecil hotel, the first one i had i never seen anything about it, never heard of the cecil hotel and my friends were dying in the dream. it was weird. but all of the friends that died aren’t close to me at all anymore. after i woke up i looked it up and i found out it was some haunted hotel, after that i had a couple more dreams about it that were pretty creepy. one of them i looked in a mirror outside of a room of an elevator and i saw a devil like thing

Elisa Lam’s death wasn’t a mystery though. Elisa had a bipolar episode and she pretty much just went crazy, so when she somehow made it to the roof she jumped into the water tank. For those of you who don’t know once you jump into a water tank you never get back out. This is why you always take your medicine kids. 😁

From what I have heard of Elis's death. She was said to be seen on a date with a guy so I think (and maybe some others) she was drugged by him. And that was the whole elevator situation drugs can make you hallucinate so I think she was acting weird talking to people cause she was having hallucinations. So since she was drugged she couldn't tell where she was going and ended up their. Or she hallucinated into thinking it was something else.

Elisa Lamb ( don't know how to spell it ) It was very traumatic and tragic. She passed away 2011-2012 and the story was 10/10 experience to watch. Here is what I know: Elisa Lamb was a normal adult who was at a hotel. She was on an elevator witch had clips taken out of the recording on the security cams.
