I just got off the phone with one of their representatives. One of the last companies that I know of that you can still call by phone and get an American on the other end, without being referred to a website or call center. Their transferrable lifetime warranty prompted me to buy my first Leupold scope (used), and I bought that products ever since. The fact that they have some of the biggest government contracts speaks volumes about them.

I had ordered the Mark 5HD 7-35x56 MIL - Sku #177333 August 28 2020, waiting for it to be built. I have a mark-4-lr-t-6-5-20x50mm and I like it a lot. Had it out to 1,290 yards with my Tikka T3x TAC A1 Bolt-Action Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. I had problems hitting moving targets with it, so I hope the new scope will do better. Keep up the good work

Leupold has the best products, best customer service and is made in the USA. If you don’t believe me, go find a military vet that had sniper training and ask them.

Leupold......I have only Leupold on every rifle I own. Eleven with the 12th on the way. Gold ring....the only scope I'll ever own.

Hey l got for Christmas a anschutz 22 HB the only scope I would consider to put on is a leoupold VX-3HD 6.5-20X20 Leoupold #180624 every dealer you can think of list it but none in stock all on back order!!! Would anyone know why Leoupold isn’t making or shipping these

Optical components are made in Japan, they just assemble the scopes, its not made in USA its just assembled in the USA!

Good luck find *any* scope manufacturer that makes it own lenses. The rest of the scope, including the mechanical components, is still made here. They also coat those lenses with their own process.

@@ciureadaniel8927 That's because they have a long-established lens-manufacturing facility before they ever got into the gun scope business. Leupold still is a far sight (pun intended) better than most others when it comes to domestic manufacturing, even more so than US Optics, Nightforce, and Trijicon, who each make only one line of their scopes in USA, with the rest made overeas.

BS!! What is it that you think they do better? Be specific so we can get to the truth. There is nothing that they do that Leupold doesn’t do just as well or better. I used to hear this nonsense about Swarovski and it has been others through the years since then. If you know what you really need in a rifle scope you will realize that Leupold is as good or better than the rest. It is no coincidence that the majority of military snipers use Leupold. Plus they are made in the USA by our American brothers and sisters.
