There are no salaries in North Korea, the state hands out ´living expenses´. $10/month was about 15-20yrs ago. Even outside of Pyongyang these days, citizens receive $100 basic ($200 nuclear family). The quality of information of your videos is very high, and you have provided information on North Korea that no other KZbin channel offers. Moreover, if you peruse through all of the videos that have been made by TheTalko, you will quickly see that there have been a large number that have been made, so the percentage of the videos that have been made about North Korea is quite small. Perhaps some people's feelings have been hurt from your excoriating Kim Jong-un and North Korea in general. Please keep on making these great videos!

Not sure if they know that literally most of the DPRKs population, about 70%, is located in Pyongyang, all of which dont have to pay for food, water, housing, education and healthcare. Their housing is planned given according to occupation, essentially making people live near their jobs and daily needs to reduce the need for cars and promote public transportation. The Soviet Union planned their cities the same way. Cities like Wonsan and Chongjin also produce near identical living qualities of Pyongyang. Also, is kind of obvious that just because someone is under 40 years old, it doesnt make them a millennial. Another point, I'm going to assume 0 research was done on shopping in the DPRK as well. Anyone who has either visited, knows someone who visited, or simply watched daily vlogs there (not tourists, but from foreign citizens, such as Jaka Parker) would know that the DPRK is BY FAR the cheapest place to eat. This is mainly due to the massive agricultural subsidies and the collective farming system that makes farming more efficient and cheaper, with an exception to their scarce resources. And why so many pics of western and south Korean people and places? If these things happen among the "richest" of the DPRK, specifically for their motive of broadcasting a better image of themselves, why is it so hard to find photos of actual North Korean life and examples? Fact is, us westerns do not know everything about the DPRK like the media and govt pretends to do in order to push a humanitarian war on the nation. All we can go off of is the material facts of the DPRK by either visiting or gathering 1st person sources, not tabloids from the South (where it is illegal to say anything even neutral about the DPRK). I highly suggest looking into this info yourself and avoiding the very tempting western media outlets in search for visual and material evidence for life in the DPRK. A great channel for that is Jaka Parker. He is a Indonesian and North Korean citizen who lives there for months out of the year with his family, and records blogs specifically to document daily life in North Korea.

Interesting, most who live in the Capitol city still experience rolling blackouts. They are also assigned jobs and have to live in the area of the city closest to where they work. Only the privileged live in the Capitol city but their little be isn't easy and certainly not privileged by any means. Don't believe anything this video says
