@@rey-op7je Problems: Dental schools costing up to 750k without training dentists properly. 2) Education for dentists after school doesn't give sovereign immunity, which is necessary for the best hands on learning with reduced cost Possible solutions:. Brazil has some of the best dental schools in the world, so we have a proven model already, even if there model isn't perfect, it's good enough to make a video on that compares US dental professionals vs Brazil's. Get rid of undergraduate requirements and start at a younger age. I do video production Rather than dentists learning implants in the Dominican republic, and not having sufficient root canal practice, allow sovereign immunity for people who need the treatment, but would either keep the emergency rooms busy or simply loose their teeth. I don't expect this to be a quick fix, so I'm just laying the foundation down with high end dental video production and increasing transparency about this topic in the dental field so that more people become aware of this problem, which is the biggest problem in dentistry. Lots of barriers to overcome this, but it's possible, especially since I know the field pretty well and understand that the schools aren't as efficient, and powerful as people think they are

With video, new tech, including AI, and a very strong desire amongst dentist to hate the current school system, I don't see changing the law as difficult in 10 years, when the boomers are all older and the silent generation is gone. The average age of a first year dental student in the UK is 18 to 20 years old. Average in the US is 24 to 26 years old. Chat gpt it 😁. I have a larger community that I pivoted towards in the stray cat activist world where people are all about it til late midnight every week, which is a huge contrast to the burnt out ego driven dental community. If you want to see a video I may make showing the difference between Brazil's best dental school and our dental schools, just let me know. I'll make the video super summarized and easy to understand that even the 80 years will want it changed 😁. It's about to get crazy

I have impression that it’s easier to win lottery than for 1st time founder to get into YC unless you’re from Stanford or some other US Ivy League university or u already achieved product market fit. So we think it’s waste of time spending hours for application to stand in queue of thousands of companies who will never get in instead on working on achieving product/market fit on your own.

First time founder from South America here, educated in Argentina. YC S22. Our batch had companies from every background, including lots of US Ivy League Alumns, of course. The application won't take you that much. Honestly, your comment sounds more like fear to rejection. We applied a couple of times before being interviewed. YC was our first investor check, and made us learn and accelerate like crazy.

It seems that old days of garage startups are gone. Garage startups are replaced by oss. People now got access to money printing with crypto and powetful automation with AI. You can't do a garage profitable business because garage AI is mostly open source. On the other hand web3 has a bad reputation in the startup bros community. And how would you convince anyone to join if smart people have the same access to superpowers, and less skilled bros are replaced by ai.
