Stapleton rd is on Easton not St Paul’s and St Paul’s isn’t “an estate”. Estates in Bristol are on the south knowle, Hartcliffe etc. St Paul’s is now gentrified and property there costs a pretty penny. Go south of the river if you want to see real poverty

02:50 is Grosvenor Road, a five minute walk from my front door in Montpelier. Although Montpelier is pretty safe, there are frequent stabbings in Grosvenor Road. 200 yards further up the road in the park featured in 7:50, there is open cannabis dealing which is the source of most of the violence. The block of flats at 4:10 is where my mate Louis lives. Louis recently served a prison sentence, from which he emerged much chastened, after his dog seriously injured a visitor. 06:19 is the area I think of as Little Mogadishu, since it hosts a lot of Somali families who moved here fleeing the Somalian civil war which began in 1989. I walk through here multiple times weekly on my way between home and the City Centre, and have never felt unsafe.
