also, chris seems really good with doing transitions, at 7:50 he talks about the bath straight to the fireplace, at 8:25 he does it again to the shisha, and at 9:00 again for the balcony. The $30k "entrance fee" would be divided on the stays in the years you are a member, the $9k yearly would be the "yearly" price. So The first year you could say the price per night is $3250. But the next year you only add $9k so you are up to $48000 divided by 24, or $2000 per night. And so it keeps going down...

There are other countries where saunas were a thing a lot earlier than in Finland. Weird how the Finnish have activated in the comment section as if they were some specialists. It’s one thing to enjoy your customs, other to make a sauna your personality.

I had to look up the whole "couples sleeping in a seperate bed" thing. Apparently, it's something about not being disturbed by other people while you sleep, even if it's your spouse, as sleep is "peace time" and sleeping alone make for better rest. Honestly, not that far fetched
@skylarkblue1
@skylarkblue1 Жыл бұрын
ngl my first thought when they mentioned that was "why do couples sleep in the same bed elsewhere?". Sharing covers, pillows, space, etc just seems stressful since everyone sleeps differently.

My parents slept in separate rooms, mostly because they are both terribly loud snorers. My dad is remarried now, and he and his new wife also sleep separate for the same reason I gather.

Me and my wife have slept in separate bedrooms since we had our kids. My snoring and her pin drop wake ups it took all the stress out of sleeping. It doesn’t mean you can’t cuddle or “anything else” it just means you don’t roll over each other at night for gods sake your asleep or you doing something wrong. I don’t know where sleeping in the same beds/room came from some honey old man probably.

Great video! What an incredible room! I also turn 32 this year. You've mentioned getting into shape might I suggest rock climbing. It's changed my life. With it being so popular in Japan especially with sport climbing's debut at the Olympics there should be plenty of gyms or even crags to visit. Maybe with Japan opening up you could do a collab with Magnus Midtbø I think he's mentioned an interest in returning to Japan.
