Never disappointed. Came for the great stuff and, as promised, Coach Brian delivered more of it.

I have the hardest time finishing body lock takedowns. I'm going try this during mma sparring tomorrow.

Coach , can you please do one more video about Ghost escape ; usually i find that i do everything ok , i pop out, my head etc.. But beacuse i have shorter arms its very hard to secure head-and arm (bicep arm) in place to hit proper Darce , and Sprawl. Or maybe i still suck at it, i dont know. Im very comfortable with everything before (kipping, walking to side, and pop out, sit out if i need to, all that is fine). I know that im off topic now. If you find time , anyway thank you very much for your videos. Because your tips my trainning now make sense. Peace

Very interesting what you said about head position and using it for kuzushi. I always try to fight for the dominant head position on the underhook side. Do you think it's unrealistic? Why do you have your head on the side where they have underhook? Is it only because it works well for this set up? Are there any other advantages to this head position which I find awkward whenever I get there?

@@TeachMeGrapplingcoach, inside trip only works when your opponent stands tall and square to you. What if the leg you want to trip is further away ? What attack can be done from there?
@TeachMeGrappling11 ай бұрын
Motion can help you change the stance of your opponent. The idea of attacking the front leg is usually always a great rule to follow. If you attack and you get it, great. If you attack and he steps back, you can attack the other side or use a technique that works well against a square opponent.
