Good Samaritans Race to Lift Car off Motorcyclist

A man and woman on a motorcycle were hit from behind by a car in the popular resort town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The woman tumbled off the bike and into the street, but the man, named Alex James, became trapped beneath the car. Within seconds, total strangers rushed to his aid. Nearly two-dozen people worked together to lift the vehicle off James, as he was pulled to safety. Afterwards, James took to Facebook to express his gratitude.

This legit reminds me of another incident that happened a few years back, when a man was leaving a train when his leg somehow got stuck between the gap that separates the train from the platform. Eventually, people noticed that the man needed assistance. Initially they tried simply pulling him out, but that didn’t work. Later, they attempted to tilt the train by a few inches in order to pull the man out much easier. Soon, a few hundred people actually worked to together to tilt a literal train. Fortunately their effort was successful and the gap widen enough to free the man.

All it took was seeing my gimpy self trying to help this man to bring three more cars to a stop with far more able bodies. I'm reflecting on so many of the comments. People feeling so happy there's humanity and everyone coming together. It shows that this is something that would be out of the ordinary, or unexpected from your fellow person. This should be the norm among people. One person helping another regardless of a tragic accident or even just a small need. People can still help out one another it doesn't take a deadly accident for people to pull together. I wish the people would be that way every day. If only that was the norm. The comments might read something like this, great job crowd of unknown people way to go again. Oh well Hope springs eternal I guess we'll call this progress.
