Herrine's parents are so sweet to want to see her work and to be in the video also. Well done Mom and Dad, your daughter is great at her job and great to watch (as are both of the other ladies too, so glad I was suggested this series). What I appreciate so much about this series is that the two hosts aren’t afraid to say something negative. Other similar shows will just give praise. I doubt everything people eat on these types of shows is always incredible. So I love the honesty.

The food scene in the US looks amazing. The food scene in Europe or at least in Scandinavia where I live is much smaller and far more old-fashioned. For good and for worse. We don't really have street food for example. Sometimes it feels like missing out but overall I think it's a good thing when it comes to health. I can't wait to visit the one day though! I'm gonna be eating all the time lol

Well the Asian host (Herrine Ro) is the senior producer on INSIDER's video team. She also has some prior experience working with a food network magazine and has 2 degrees - 1 for Journalism and the other Social & Cultural Analysis. I did that research early last year when I started watching these videos from insider on FB.

You won’t be disappointed. Also get the Clinton St Pancakes as well one morning/brunch. IMO you can skip Prince St Pizza though… it’s overrated and touristy. There is better pizza all over NYC (Lucali’s is prime but not the only amazing pizza).
