When I was young I brought my big gold belt to a tna event, and afterwards I asked him to sign it (as a happy child) Jeff looked at me and said "get that outta my face I ain't signing that shit" ill never forget that moment 😂

Same reason Steve Austin never wanted to work with him in WWE. Steve Austin was starving he was staring in disbelief at how small is paycheck is Jeff Jarrett came up slapped him on the back and told him "keep on Staring ain't gunna make it no bigger." I heard that originally on Ric Flair's podcast guest Bruce Prichard mentioned that is a big reason. Ric Flair said he was surprised Austin didn't punch him out, it was pointed out Austin was a rookie Jeff was the promoter son, wouldn't be a good career move. Later on WWF they wanted him to do a program Austin absolutely refused. Between that incident and him coming in and declaring the Austin 3:16 is being Blasphemous Austin was extremely pissed because he was fucking with his merchandise money. He told them a couple times he didn't want to work with him then he was booked against him, he walked in the office and just cursed Vince Jim Ross Etc and them up and down that he wasn't going to work with him.

It's funny because there's people out talkin about what a great promoter Jerry Jarrett is, this kind of confuses me, if key was such a great promoter he would have made enough to pay his wrestler so they weren't starving to death when they worked in that territory. Jerry The King Lawler has gotten a lot of heat over the years from guys who worked there because of how horribly they were paid. He helped with the booking and running the shows but he had nothing to do with the bookkeeping or payoffs. That was all on Jerry Jarrett. Steve Keirn aka Skinner pooped in the Kings Crown. Paul Bearer watched the door. Jerry Jerry pooped in Steve Keirns pay envelope

It’s really cool to see nostalgic matches like Brothers of Destruction vs DX happen but at the same time, why couldn’t Undertaker just end his career to losing to Lesnar or Roman? I guess this isn’t the last we’ve seen of him. I just wanna see him in the Hall of Fame already😅 I enjoyed listening to Jarrett’s answers. Great questions

Agreed. Taker & Shawn are the Cornerstones of the WWE. At one point they were Vince’s two longest tenure superstars for quite some time. They kept me tuned in for years bc A. They’re both of my all time favorite wrestlers and B. They provided that nostalgia for the die hard fans. LEGENDARY performers and two of the all-time greats.

*What happen to the shoot video you recently had up that featured Chris Jericho talking about his experience in Saudi Arabia when he went to the Greatest Royal Rumble?* I'm assuming you were pressured into removing the video? I was telling my girlfriend about it & explained how I couldn't believe it was actually posted given the more negitive light he was shining on his experiences while there given how positive WWE made the event out to be..so I'm just curious as to the back story of why it was removed? Did Y2J request it be removed or did WWE make the request? Doesn't seem to be anyone talking about it that I've come across.

Shawn should of stayed retired and lets his legacy be what it was now that he has returned a sad old man that isn't man enough to look in the mirror and say his time has passed. The problem with WWE is the fact they would rather focus on old guys instead of doing what is best for business wish is current talk being top priority. If the legends that helped make taker and Shawn what they are now had the attitude of being worried about losing there spot or the focus being on them guys like Shawn and Taker would have never got to where they are. Maybe all of these old guys need to remember that legends before them helped make them who they are and didn't hold them back when they could have.

To piggy back off Jason it's not the old guys fault that every single promo they do is completely scripted. There is no spontaneous lines like Austin 3 16 said I just whooped your ass. Come on bro even the people's elbow was made up to make Taker laugh. I feel there is no fail forward in WWE. They need to have a late night show where there is the cuss words the violence and sexual innuendo. I don't think the wwe is holistically designed for all viewers

They both must show there gray and sell the story for what it is. not try to do to much. So they don't show there weaknesses. Also Shawn has to grow his hair back out and use a head band or bandana to hide his hair line. But IAM sure they would put on a masterpiece.
