There are a lot of people in WWE who are just completely haphazard in the way they handle other workers (and themselves). 99% of the women's division is a botchfest, Rollins is stiff, Owens is stiff, Reigns is stiff, Brock is beyond stiff (if I was a wrestler of any caliber, I wouldn't step in the ring with him)...
