Got a question what did you use to attach your wire for air-conditioning on screen controrls and for your wires for radio controls. I found the USB connection wire n radio antenna adapter. Haven't found for the other 2 wires

I just received mine from Hong Kong... Instructions would be nice. My audio outputs are all female RCA jacks. Guess I'm going to have to find me a Metra audio harness and will have to do some cutting and splicing. Mine is different than the radio your hooking up. I don't have the two different harnesses to splice together. Not exactly what I expected. Hopefully I'll get it right. Installing it in a 2018 JK Rubicon Recon...

Great video! Although it is for jeep , I found it helpful but i still have questions: how did you connect deck to the stock amp? is it with just AMP-C wire? What is 12v out for and did you connect anything to PCI bus. I have 02 dodge and some people say i need a module to work with existing amp and some don't. My deck is seicane 8.1 but lower model. I did not come with harness. Seicane help support is useless. My email returned meaning their email is not working.

I'm not read up on their current offerings, but my answer is yes. Bang for buck for how I use it can't be beat. If I wanted to spend $1000, there are other options, but for the price...hard to beat.

I just installed this headunit in my 17 Sahara. Bought the car which came with an automatic remote start. Since installing the radio the fob will still work just as it normally would UNTIL I use the automatic start feature. The fob will still start the car, but then once the car is running the fob no longer works, it will not let me into the vehicle, and it’s lock/unlock features suddenly no longer work. We have to manually enter the vehicle which sets off the factory alarm controls. Any help, or did you run into this issue when installing yourself? Thanks.

I had the same Unit in my Wrangler 2015 with Alpine Premium Sound. Music is playing, but the rear and the Subwoofer are very low. I know to set the fader in the middle. Nothing changes. Do you have the Same issue with Low Output on Rear Speaker and Sub? After closer Looking to Can Bus harness, they get straight into the Jeep Harness from the Radio Analog High Output. This have to cause Problems with the Alpine Digital Amp. So normaly every guy with an Alpine Premium Sound should have this issue too. Thanks. Bastian from Germany

Hi Bastian. Which model did you have? Only the new S18JP25 has AMP CON cable that makes the use of a factory Alpine sub.

Hey awesome video this is gonna help so much (I just fav all these for easy reference when mine comes in). I bought their drive cam with the unit as well as the backup camera. I understand how to wire up the backup camera, but their drive cam appears to be a USB connection. Which connection would I utilize for this? I bought an adapter off amazon to retain the center console usb but I’m not sure that’s where the camera should connect. Thanks

You may be lucky to get 2 usb ports... some did. I didn't . If so, you can use one for the USB camera. If not, you can buy an inexpensive USB hub for it.

I just installed mine. Missing the instruction manual, missing SD card in the front left, it’s empty. Steering wheel controls DONT work, and worst of all there is NO SOUND coming from any of the speakers!!!!

I am not getting any help on this. Can someone here tell me what CANBUS model my CANBUS should be set to - 2016 Wrangler Rubicon. I called Seicane to help me with the amp issue and they had me change the CANBUS model to Chrysler. It helped somewhat with the speakers but now my inverter for the outlet, ESC, hazards, and seat warmers are now inoperable. The problem with the radio is it doesn't show you what CANBUS model it should be set to or what the current selection is before changing it. And apparently I need to connect the blue AMP CON wire coming from the Power Connector to the factory wiring harness amp wire. Please help!

Does the face of the unit..meaning the screen appear to be at all water resistant?

The display is as water resistant as any other tablet device... and actually probably more resistant than anything with knobs and buttons. I imagine it's possible for water to get in around the edges if there was direct spray... and the top cubby will be a way for water to get in unless it's sealed with rtv or something when you put it on.

Ryan Oberlin wow. First I've heard of that problem. Other than basic troubleshooting... Making sure your harness connections are solid as the volume level is up... Not sure what be else you can do. That doesn't sound good tho. Sorry man. I hope you didn't get a dud. I'd contact them asap to get help

Hi Jp. I had sound previously but had no bass as the subwoofer was not being powered by the HU. I had to end up buying the PAC RP4-CH11. I worked with SEICANE and they credited me $80 to purchase the PAC unit. Total install time took about an hour after cutting and splicing all wires. My bass actually sounds way better and is a lot louder. 5after12 has a good video showing the full install of the PAC unit mentioned above.

Hmmm... The speaker outputs are in the big wiring connection to the factory harness. If that's plugged it, it should just work. The only thing I can tell you is to contact Seicane support and tell them yours isn't working. They are a pain to deal with, unfortunately. In the harness the front/rear should be bridged together. In mine, it's not even possible to fade front to rear... they are both at 100% and can't be changed. I have the alpine system tho... so not sure if the Infinity system is different.

Oscar Barboza that's uncool! Contact them immediately. This is the downside of buying through these Chinese channels.... inconsistent product. Since I made this video others have said they moved the SD card slot to the front. Did you check there? The side slot by the display?

Yet with the alpine restyle kit you actually have to cut your dash .... Which I don't like in case you ever decided to change
