Hey! I just did an installation of the 5000 series. I had to change the handing and they had green loctite on them. Any way you go around this? I had to torque them out with some channel locks and ended up snapping one. Was such a pain in the rear. Any tips?

Do you have a video with the double combination feature? Meaning, code for both sides?

Hello I'm attempting to remove and replace a simplex 1000 at work I can't seem to get the handle off I use the tool to press in the little hole it should release the handle to come off but it doesn't I looked at the new simplex 1000 the handle was already on it and I tried to pressing in the hole of the new one expecting it to come off easily but it did not what am I doing wrong? I was using enough pressure I thought can you help?

Could be wrong but certian ones you use the the key and keep turning to unscrew parts of it. Again if I knew exactly I wouldn't be here. Good luck

Used to be a serious security issue involving magnets with the 1000 series. Has it been fixed?

Yes, Stainless steel non magnetic replacment part has fixed the issue

I don’t know. I stay away from biometrics as I have seen to many flaws in the system to make it reliable.
