You are not kidding when you call it a "Dream Shop"! It's looking so good. It's a larger, prettier version of my pallet wall in my little shop. Can't wait to see it finish and you back to building. Been enjoying your documentation of the shop. Thanks!👍🏻

I saw the finished walls in the last vid when you put down the floor tiles and wondered if I missed you putting them up. Glad I didn't. 😁 Barn wood walls look great! Thanks for sharing!

The walls really give the shop that rustic woodworking look! Its a beautiful shop Caleb! You've put in so much time, effort and $$ into this and it looks amazing! I see you are going with the "can never have too many outlets" approach! Did I mention how amazing the shop looks? 🤣 Looking forward to all the awesome projects you are going to build!

So close! Real time it's actually getting organized and the dust collection is 95% done, just waiting on a few last connectors. About halfway through the first table build in the shop.

The walls are beautiful. For MY person taste I would white wash the walls to bring down some of those yellow hues, regardless it still awesome and looks inviting which is what I assume is something you want. Thanks for the video!

Thanks! I'm still really torn on that. I dig the barn vibe and as all my equipment goes in I think it's going to look better and be less noticeable.

Hey! Thank you so much. Got the email, the previous owner that built the house and barn also asked me about it and if they could get it back if when I take it down. So whenever I do I'm going to pass it to them, just feels like the right folks for it to go to.
@robert.brokaw38293 жыл бұрын
@@YouCanMakeThisToo I agree Caleb. The previous owners should keep. I'm sure it's sentimental to them. Thanks for responding. and yep made it through the storm. Drove to work every day. Again thanks.

Wondering if you can share the link for your friend who used T1 11 as his interior wall boards? I have the rough sawn T1 11 and looking for tips on how to smooth it out without sanding? Am I research brings up that scraping is the best way and safest way to do it rather than planing as you might take off too much trying to plane it
Good grief you process a ton of lumber! Looks like a nice score of wood.
@YouCanMakeThisToo3 жыл бұрын
So so much! It was a good find and worked out perfect. Was actually that sawyers very first run from a few years ago. So it was a dry and perfect for the walling... but woulda been tough to sell as anything else.
@michaeljunnier373 жыл бұрын
Looks great, just curious why didn't you run electrical behind boards?
@YouCanMakeThisToo3 жыл бұрын
That’ll be covered in the electrical video coming next. Short version I’m doing exposed EMT. Made the walls go up faster and makes for an easily modifiable electrical system.
@russellschutte6763 жыл бұрын
Looks great, sad you spent all that time doing such a great job and properly installing the wood (love the natural color BTW) to then see surface mounted electrical! what?!
@YouCanMakeThisToo3 жыл бұрын
Aesthetics are personal, I actually like the industrial look that EMT brings, not to mention the functionality.

Really? Are you really putting up "walling"?
@YouCanMakeThisToo3 жыл бұрын
Is this a rhetorical question leading into a semantic argument? The quotes make me think you just want to argue about definitions.. if that’s what you need right now, I’m happy to oblige the best I can. Ahem. Yes, it’s “walling!!!” Okay, your turn.
