Love the project. Very creative. You commented on cooking wild game medium or rarer the better. One exception would be bear meat and the threat of trichinosis. 90% of trichinosis cases in the USA comes from under cooked bear meat. Keep up the good work.
@LifeontheMooseАй бұрын
Hey thank you and thanks for the clarification! There are a few BUT’s… Most cases are from improperly handled/cooked pork. Freezing the meat for a certain period kills trichinosis…at least most. I personally have eaten fresh medium rare bear…it should be based on temperature, not color. That being said, I certainly do reserve bear meat for chilis, spaghetti, etc when it is cooked all the way through. Thanks again! I should have clarified this.🙏

Hi Patrick - Great video. Since you're actually getting rain there, and you have a slant on your kitchen roof, have you thought about doing rain collecting? Even though my land is only about 12 feet above the water table, I'm still planning on building a water collection for my cabin in Minnesota.

Got a question. What brand of caulking do you use on your exterior walls? Great video! Your Spur cabin is getting quite civilized. Only problem tho, sometime in the future there will be traffic jams. 😁 I always love your scenic shots going to and fro when you travel to each site. Beautiful shot thru the two pine trees, over top of the gateway, with the ridge cabin in the background, 28:26. And with you working with water this episode, I'm certain that all of us are relieved that you didn't drown. The tension was high. 😁
