Are those really helping since you already have side bunks? I was deciding on guide ons vs bunks but you have both so I am confused. Totally new to boating.

Don't want to sound totally novice, but I am new to boating. Concerning those boat guides you installed, do they "pop up" to indicate you are in the water far enough?

No , there are just there to help straighten the boat out in the water, its hard to get the boat on otherwise. Most of the time the boat would be on the bunks wrong and I would have to try again this makes things a lot easier

@@dinkhunter1593 simple mark with a sharpie on the white tube. this way you can back the trailer and see how far to go into the water

@@greglevitz9956 Yes, but it kind of depends somewhat on how steep and deep the ramp is. On a really steep and deep ramp you'll reach your mark while the front of the trailer isn't far enough into the water to facilitate easy load if you had originally placed your mark when on a shallow ramp. No big deal...it all becomes 2nd nature after a while.
