Installing Bilstein Shocks on Non-Sasquatch Bronco & 35s Tires!

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. In todays video I'll show you how I installed these Bilstein Badlands takeoff shocks onto my Non-Sasquatch Big Bend Bronco. I also added GRT - Offroad perch collars that gave me an additional 2.25" of front lift and 1.25" of rear lift.
To complete the build I also added 35x12.50x17 Kenda Klever R/T tires.
Torque Specs:
Axle Nut: 221 lb.ft
Brake Caliper Bolts: 48 lb.ft
Lower Shock Bolts: 66 lb.ft
Upper Shock Bolts: 41lb ft
Tie Rod Bolt: 46 lb.ft
Upper Ball Joint: 46 lb.ft
Sway Bar End Link: 122 lb.ft
Lower Control Arm: 210 lb.ft
Lower Control Arms rear: 159 lb.ft
Rear Lower Shock bolts: 350 lb.ft
Rear Upper Shock bolts: 41lbs.ft

How is the on road ride quality change? Did you see an improvement?

Slightly stiffer but overall better.

Great Video! You covered it all. Been looking all over for all the torque specs and you but it all in one spot! Did you re-use the lower bolt from the non-sas shocks on the rear? That's my plan but wasn't sure if it was okay. Thanks

Thanks ! Yes I re-used the rear lower . Check the torque after 500 miles , then doesn’t hurt to check them all during oil changes

Adding the Bilstein's lifted it from stock to sasquatch then you added the purch collars on top of that, so how much lift did you end up with?

Any answers yet? The Sasquatch struts would have given 2” lift. Then the perch collars were added, for what reason? More lift?

Nice rig! I noticed you have the same bronze wheels from your Ranger. I also have the bronze Motegi Trail light wheels on my Ford ranger. How do you clean those wheels? I’ve noticed after a couple years they seem to kind of fade. Any recommendations from your usage and cleaning process?

I’ve had these wheels for about three years now. I haven’t noticed if they have faded much. But I’ve always used Jax Wax wheel cleaner or Chemical Guys wheel cleaner with good results.

Great video! question: I am waiting for my Badlands to be delivered next month. I opted for the Non Sas version but I believe it will still come with the Bilstein shocks. That being said, would I need to lift it any to fit the 35,s which I plan replacing the 33 with? Your lift seem like the perfect fit for those 35 you have on it.

Did you reuse the same bolts up from on the bilstien suspension?

I actually do have the tools, but nah! I’m going to get an experienced mechanic to do that job! I don’t want to risk screwing up something while it’s still new!
