Carl may be old, but is a better car than when he was new thanks to you and your Dad. Cheers from Vienna, Va.

I enjoy you so much. Your adventurous attitude and enthusiasm is infectious. Your videos remind me so much of my youth and my many cars. But I have especially great joy seeing an awesome dad. I would love to borrow him sometime on one of my projects. You are a blessed family!

I've been doing this forever and yet I'm still learning from your videos. The soldering iron trick is great. I wish I'd thought of it.

Carl looks good with the carpet in. When I put new carpet in my Mustang, I used a heated screwdriver to burn in the holes. For the seatbelts, I actually came up through the bottom with a smaller screwdriver to establish the location, Then I came back through from the top with a larger heated screw drive (Philips head) to finish it off. Worked really well.

You did a great job. As @Mark Hoff suggested put XMat on the inside of your roof before fitting your roof lining it will help sound proof Carl alot. The only other suggestion I have is to get some Automotive underlay and put it in when you change the carpets next time, it will help with sound proofing and also with inside temperature. I don't remember the Australian Falcons having screws to hold the carpets in, actually I don't remember any car having screws to hold the carpet in. That was a new one for me.

You should make a DVD of all the episodes. I'd buy one. Think that would be a good idea. Use the money for something or give to saint Judes

Next time let the carpet sit in the sun an relax. Plus use your heat gun to help in corners
