The vacuum solenoid on the stock pump was so that if you turn the wheel while at idle, it should idle up the engine slightly to give you more power steering pressure.

trail gear power flow pump, there may be an issue with it already. He's going to warranty it after snow wheeling this weekend

Have you had any issues with it whining? I have that same kit and I have bled more times than I can count and I can’t get it to stop. If you have and found a solution to the problem please let me know.

He had to replace the pump after the first trip with it (warranty) we’ve since heard from a few people that the trail gear pumps are 50/50. Sometimes they’re good sometimes they’re junk right outta the box
