I haven’t finished the video yet but think the longer handlebars might get in the way of folding and storing the bike in the back of the car.

I like your video. It shows that any and everything can be upgraded. Thanks for a job well done. I order to swap the handle bar for a longer one, must I also upgrade the throttle assembly or can I still use the stock twist throttle?

You can use the stock one, but if you're in there upgrading anyway, I highly recommend the thumb throttle over the twist. Increasing the power is dangerous and the twist throttle can sometimes pose a problem with getting stuck. Is the reason you didn't get the riser version handlebar is because the 30mm rise would stretch the cables too much to fit everything? Thank you very much for being so helpful and taking your time to make this video!

Exactly. These were about as long as I could get for it. They feel MUCH better than stock.

@@RandyRides Thank you for confirming. I bought a Bolt "Up" (Pegs only version) and bought the handlebars you recommended using your link. Work great. I just bought a "remanufactered" Bolt PRO from Jetson for $225 with a $25 Promo code. I'm going to make the same handlebar modification on it, too. I had just wondered if I should get the riser version this time, but you settled it for me. I'll stick to what's proven. I like the handlebars MUCH better than the stock one's, too. Plus there's more room for "gadgets"! :D

Do you know the exact size of the Jetson bolt pro motor wheel ? I know it is a 14 inch. But the dimensions? Like 14x2.125

No, but it's literally 2-3 wires that you have to connect. Might even be able to find a plug and play version. I'm pretty comfortable with electrical work, so it was an easy 2 minute job for me.

Is there anyway you can help me to know what is the max length in mm I can go with along with the max rise in mm since the cables are short? My goal is to get a good riser so I can bring the bar closer to me please. Or recommend which cables to buy so I can use any size bar I want?

600mm is probably the max width. If you get a riser, I’d say you might have to go with a smaller bar, not sure. What size riser are you going with? As the Jetson has sensors in the brakes to cut the motor off when braking, you can’t just swap brake cables. It’s pretty tight either way. With my 600mm bar, I was stretching it quite a bit to even get the brakes/controls on.

@fastrackblastback agreed, I’ll get that size but if I put a 600mm long bar with 40mm riser the brake cables def won’t fit. I was looking for the max fit I can buy and bolt on please
