2010 Taco I love and the exact same rusted pipe issue.. Ditto on this. Gonna do the same fix! Mines dual Flowmaster and love the double pipes.. Thanks for the video! You Rock!!!

I just did a new Walker 2 years ago. The connected tailpipe part rusted off the muffler already. I only put 3 to 4k a year on it. Original muffler lasted 10 years. 2012 TRD Sport 4x4 Access Cab. 4.0L 49,368 miles to date. I'm going back to OEM. It will cost more doing aftermarket's every 2 years.

Can't beat the factory ones. I'm still on my original from 2011. Just recently replaced the gaskets, that's it.

An Exhaust Hanger Removal Tool really helps getting it off. They are pretty cheap.

I am replacing the exhaust. How tight should the Exhaust Bolt and Spring be? I was thinking of making it tight and then backing it off around one or two turns.

The bolts with the springs should shoulder out. The normal exhaust clamps just snug up both bolts but down tighten so tight you are crushing the pipe.

Man, paint that with high temp paint like they use on fireplaces and you wont have the rust issue again.

We don't have problems with rust here in Texas anyway. Besides these exhaust parts are aluminum coated.
