man best answer for cheap chinese parts is spend the money on NOS parts.....and grab a extra one for down the road.....ive got nos parts for these era cars....big pontiacs tho.....i hate repro stuff dont fit quite right dont have the same detail.....i know some things your limited to the aftermarket but if you have the option go nos

@RJTickler ya i look at it as the factory built em by the thousands and normally even after this long they probably still work in the car it was installed in 60 yrs ago.....so if it still works after this long in a car how long would a new fresh out the box one last....

Damn I should have messaged you. You can drill the lock cylinder out that's what I did on mine and only had to replace the cylinder

Oh wow I thought you were just joking you did cut that bezel out.😢 I would put the original square piece back in there and then get the original deck or a square deck like that and then just use Bluetooth through the radio anyways whatever works

Lol, but It's true though. That's the expensive one. But you have cut up more impalas then anyone else I have seen on KZbin.

I hope you were just joking about cutting that new bezel I would just take that deck out and pitch it in the trash I would weld that piece back in there to original best I could

You chose not to get the poor version lol. It wouldn't be easier just to break that key off and drill that out or just pull out the key sorry
