Installing New Injector Seals On The Mazdaspeed6 Pulled Over For Doing Pulls

I finally got around to replacing the blown out injector seals. The new ones are from Overspeed Motorsports. The police don't like the way my car looks, its allegedly suspicious. Fun fact, Pecos is on fire and all my cool cars might burn.

Great job on this video dude! Engine work on the DISI doesn’t bother me much EXCEPT the injectors. For some reason, it’s a daunting task and I feel like I’m going to mess something up lol. I’ve done my turbo, I take, DP, etc but this just gets me. Going to brave it tomorrow though, can’t finish my tune otherwise!

Just got done with mine. All 4 injector seals were gone. Cork sport seals fixed my issue. Thanks

Good work brother! When I'm trying to do pulls, its a Real challenge finding Any roads that are level, at least where I live! If you use a known spot, whether its dead flat on not, at least you can time the run and then later do the run again to see if there has been improvements.. people in kansas of course, have more flat road than they know what to do with!

17-18ftlbs is the torque spec for them seals. They are crush seals, one time use after bolting. Also, if you have a stock turbo, see and shift around 5200rpm max to get best performance and turbo longevity. Peace brother!

Will these cause low compression? I have an 07 turbo went replaced it then made it 4 miles and lost all but 25 compression on cylinder 1 and it kinda made that noise

Did you use a puller to get the injectors out or did you just pull them out by hand?

EGR pipe doesn’t have to come out, just undone from the intake.

Not so easy to remove injectors on these cars! VW diesel injectors are mounted on the top

I bet someone put the cx-7 fuel pressure sensor on it which doe not have the pressure sensing high enough.

Speeds need minimum of premium 91 octane.
