I just discovered your channel and I'm totally enjoying your cabin build. Watching you drink coffee next to your newly installed stove with your dad is a memory you'll never forget and fortunately you'll always have a video of it forever. My dad used to take my mom and my twin brother to a remote fishing camp in the mountains near Little Fort in BC, Meadow Lake Fishing Camp. We stayed in log cabins with wood stoves to heat the cabin and our hot drinks. My mom and dad and twin brother are all gone now but I have so many wonderful and somewhat sad memories of the four of us at the cabin, fishing on the lakes and enjoying the beautiful outdoors in Canada. I'm going back there by myself after too many years and walk those trails again to the remote lakes and enjoy the beauty of BC. I'm really looking forward to it but the memories of those past years with them will be tough. Thank you for the fascinating cabin build and bringing back old memories.

I love to see the first fire in a cabin. I was told that many years ago in Scotland that if you wanted to build a croft house there had to be a fire in the house on the first day of building. in other words, if everyone in the village didn't help with the building it would never happen. This meant that the people in the village did not want you. Cruel but effective. You adopted the same principle with your barn raising where all of the locals would help to make it happen. of course, the house was at that stage very crude but it was weatherproof and a fire in the hearth

Unfortunately when he passed it was like a who could sell my grandpas stuff the fastest and while I was gone in basic training it was all gone. I couldn’t believe my family would do that to the point we haven’t talked in years. But just seeing you all working with that tractor brings a big smile to face and takes me back to much better times in my life and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

Thank you for sharing this amazing moment with perfect strangers. I had a wonderful feeling when that fire was roaring and the two of you sat in silence. No need for words. Just contentment and appreciation. I felt a deep sigh in my heart and it was almost like I was there with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hug your Dad for me ok?

I had to break out in a big grin seeing the coffee brewing on the stove. What a great way to "christen" the cabin and your bellies with warmth after a cold winter day. Cabin is OUTSTANDING! Your attention to detail is admirable. Don't know if you celebrated Thanksgiving, but my belated best wishes and I look forward to each and every episode. So glad to see that you have healed from the accident. GOD BLESS

You drone shots of the snow are breathtaking. The cabin looks so warm and welcoming in the snow. And then you light the fire and the scene is complete. Looking forward to seeing your family there for Christmas. Thanks for a fantastic video.

Wow, that is so touching!! I've been watching this series from close to the beginning, I'm not one of the first but I remember subscribing around 30-40k subscribers, back when you were known as "Outsidefun1". You've come a long way on youtube, but also on your log cabin. Even though I'm just watching you build it with your father, I feel like I've literally grown up with the cabin (I literally started watching in middle school, watched through high school on and off, and now I'm in college it's crazy). I remember when you were moving the boulders and literally only had the base of the cabin completed. Your constant clever engineering has been so inspirational. The ambiance of the log cabin in the woods, especially in winter with a light snow fall with the crackling sound of the fireplace and warm coffee inside the cabin is something I envision my dream home being: away from the distractions of the 21st century. Keep up the good work my friend!

THAT WAS LOVELY! The cooperation and friendship btw U and your dad make you a VERY rich duo! I dream about a cabin like this on a parcel of land with me and my grown children and their families...but I digress! Thank-you most kindly for sharing your time and myriad talents with us. Everything you do is soOOOoo well done! Doesn't get better, ESPECIALLY when you have 'faith' to live by. God bless you n' yours in turn.

Your house looks Beautifull !! Will definately have lots of sentimental value...Cherish every moment with your father , i lost mine 2 months ago and every moment was precious to me. We have no regrets and also told him nothing he did was done in vain...we miss him dearly. Greetings from Texas.
