I'm late as hell but all I want to say is I'm so glad this exists now because I remember being so upset when I learned it was impossible to play Project M on a Pal Wii all the way back in 2014. I got over it but it really did sting because it felt like the rest of the world got to enjoy it but I never could.

my wii detected it and made me do the anti piracy update. even despite reinstalling project m, my wii will not launch it like its now immune to piracy. cant play project m ever again.

Generell kannst du das mit PM machen, aber dafür brauchst du andere Tutorials. Am Besten, du spielst Legacy XP (PM mit Waluigi, Shadow und mehr) oder P+ (hat Knuckles, gibt's bestimmt auch für LXP). Bleib am Besten fern von BrawlEx, PM Infinity, und Ähnlichen Mods. Die wirklich guten sind Legacy TE, P+ und Legacy XP.

@@PaaaulaFV Generally you can do that with PM, but you need to watch other tutorials. Your best bet is Legacy XP (PM with Waluigi, Shadow and more) or P+ with Knuckles (there's a variant of LXP with Knuckles as well). Stay away from BrawlEx, PM Infinity and similar ones. The really good mods are Legacy TE, P+ and Legacy XP.

I've done this guide step-by-step exactly the way you've said it, only it boots up the SSBB HUD with all project M content. Entering training mode freezes the game and waiting for a few seconds on the character select screen does the same (freezes the game). Help please!

Hi, great guide! Why does it need to be a Wii with GC ports? If one had the newer one without them, would it not work? There's adapters for the Wii motes, so the controllers are working. LG aus Österreich

Moin, ich kenne die Family Edition aber es gibt denke ich mehr Leute, die eine Wii-Mini haben, mit der der ganze Spaß aufgrund fehlendem SD-Slot nicht gehen. Daher bin ich auf die Family Edition nicht eingegangen, geht natürlich auch. Ich wusste ehrlich gesagt nicht, dass die Family Edition Wii Adapter unterstützt. Bisher habe ich die Teile deswegen nie empfohlen. Gruß aus Niedersachsen =)

@@FunctionGermany Alles klar, dann probier ichs mal :) Den Adapter hab ich von Amazon, den steckt man in die WiiMote und da dann den GC Controller rein. Dadurch wird er praktisch kabellos :) Dankeschön für den super Guide

amazing edit: so i did everything. but brawl was normal. and when i was going on training. with luigi pink pallette and mario yellow pallete. i used the kirby stage. and when the announcer said ready.. the game creashed and mario palette was his green one.

@@titouanc.5869 It does work on a French (PAL) Wii, but a French (PAL) Brawl won't help you. That's why you need a digital NTSC Brawl ISO file.

@@RealKiido idk, i thought we're just throwing words around ;) your comment before the edit was just "addons" and idk what else to do with that. to answer your question, i don't know, you need to read the installation instructions of that mod if you want it. personally i think almost all mods other than PM, P+, Legacy TE and Legacy XP are not worth it. if you can install PM though, you should easily be able to install any other mod.
