ANOTHER INSTALLATION METHOD We are highlighting a comment made below by GilmourPage1512: "I know an easy way to install if you already have homebrew channel + cfg usb loader + SSBB game iso (well, wbfs), just download the project+ v2.11 file and decompress. You will see a folder, enter and move everything to your sd card (formatted fat 32). Create a folder in your sd card with the name "code". Enter to the folder Project+ that you previously moved to your sd card and find the files RSBE01.GC , RSBE01.txt and gc.txt. Move both ".txt" files to the root of the sd card and change the gc.txt file name to "gameconfig". Now move the RSBE01.GC file to the "code" folder we created at the beginning. Thats it. Now enter to cfg usb loader and activate the option ocarina codes before you launch the game. It worked for me." PLAYING ON A WII U If you're trying to play Project+ on a Wii U, all of the instructions for the Wii guides should transfer over to the Wii U's virtual Wii settings, except for the USB loading method. Here's a guide on Wii U hacking: wiiuguide.xyz/#/vwii-modding DOLPHIN PERFORMANCE If you're struggling to get dolphin to hit 60FPS consistently while playing Project Plus, head over to the Project Plus Discord server, and type ".performance" in the Dolphin channel. You will be given a list of suggestions to optimize dolphin for performance. HD TEXTURES The dolphin version of Project+ comes bundled with HD textures! If you want to see the game in HD, go into your graphics settings, go to the 'Advanced' tab, and then check the boxes that say "Load Custom Textures", and then "Prefetch Custom Textures". Then, in the first 'Enhancements' tab, turn your "internal resolution" option to whatever definition above 640x528 you prefer. CIOS We now recommend installing cios d2x-v10-beta52 instead of d2x-v8-final NETPLAY BUFFER There is actually a mistake in how we described the buffer system. The 'personal buffer' actually *does* affect the connection. This is mainly going to be useful when there are 3 or 4 players in a lobby, and one player is much farther than the others. For example, if 3 players are East Coast USA, and one player is West Coast USA, then the "minimum buffer" would normally need to be raised to accommodate the West Coast player. However, if the West Coast player increases their 'personal buffer', then the minimum buffer can be lowered. This means that only the player with higher ping/unstable connection needs to have high input delay, rather than the whole group. How it would work: 1. Start the game with everyone in the netplay lobby. 2. Increase the "minimum buffer" until there is no lag 3. Have the player with the highest ping set their 'personal buffer' equal to the "minimum buffer" 4. You can now lower the "minimum buffer" so that the input delay is lower for the rest of the group

Man, this was one of the most difficult projects I've ever worked on. I've never really dealt with the Wii side of Project M/+, so I had to learn what I was supposed to be showing as I was making the video, and had to make sure everything made sense. Although that might have been a blessing in disguise, since if I didn't understand something, then a new person might not have either. Fact checking, replacing footage, rewording things, restructuring areas... just a ton of work, ON TOP of this being a 20 minute informational video lol. Additionally, we had some setbacks that we had to work around. Che's mic stopped working mid way through the project, and we had to make due with his phone (which is why his voice sounds off in places lol) And glitches! Sooo many glitches while editing this thing haha. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this resources. This will probably be one of the last things I do specifically for the PM/+ community for... probably the rest of my time with this game. First, you have to install it on dolphin, then you have to go to steam and click "add a non steam game to steam" and click on your dophine file. You then install the steam link app on your samsung and link it to your steam account. Configure your gamepad to your steamm your samsung smart fridge and dolphine. Open dophine in steam using the steam link app then open Project p+ using dolphin. I have no idea if the steam link app works with non steam games but I think it just runs steam big picture on your device. Edit: There is an app called rainway that will also work.

Just a pro tip. Most 8 gb USB sticks don't actually hold a full 8 gigs of data on it, and is usually less, so it's a much safer option to just go for a 16 gb USB stick

I know of an easier way to play project + with USB Loader So after you extract all your files onto your SD card navigate to the folder that says "Project+" There should be a file that reads "RSBE01.GCT" and a text document that reads the same thing. You want to take those files and put them in the "codes" folder on the root of your SD card (create one if you do not have one) Now back to the Project+ folder there should be a text document that reads "gc.txt" move that file to the root of the SD card and rename it "gameconfig" now you have to launch Brawl from USB Loader GX. There are 2 ways to do it. If you have a copy of Brawl you can insert it inside your wii and there should be an option in USB Loader GX to rip the disc into the wbfs format which is how you launch it. The 2nd method is if you already have an iso of Brawl on your computer. You can use the Wii Backup Manager which basically does the same thing USB loader does and converts the iso into 2 wbfs files that should work for your wii. With your files on your SD card and your flash drive you should be able to play P+ from there. Have fun!!

Just a heads up, this guide is outdated if your using developmental builds of Dolphin, which you should be given stable is 5 years old now. to check your MD5 checksum you need to go to properties- verify and hit verify integrity rather than properties-info

You just have to load the sd card (sd.raw) located in the project plus folder (given you have the project plus folder on your pc as well. I even got it to work in Batocera.

very late answer, but the usb loader is already bundled with the project+ launcher, if the console doesn't detect the disc it will launch the usb loader automatically and if you have the brawl iso/wbfs it should run perfectly

I have a wii with homebrew, but when i open project plus launcher and try to search for an update it says that the file info.xml was not found, then it just crashes in an exeption (same thing when i search for addons), but if i plug the SD card in pc i can actually see that file. I'm having an issue were after selecting a stage, the game goes black for a small second and then gives me an error in white text saying...something about address errors? Prior versions of Project + such as 2.2v and 2.0v included the Project + USB Loader but I still don't if it is compatible with 2.25v or 2.26v

JUST TRIED THE HACKLESS ONE ON MY WIIU AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM! though, I DO have one question, does this mean stage builder can't be used for making stages anymore so long as the projectplus thing is still around? cuz, I kinda liked that feature. and if not... oh well. I find the plethora of stages that this awsome mod provides as making up more than what was lost with that feature. still... I kinda think that sucks though. can live without it though. I do gotta say ONE thing though... falco... drops like a fricking stone. my god, I sd'd a LOT with him after attempting aerials like a meteor or forward aerial(ESPECIALLY)when there's no ground under me. the most forgiving one are the meteors but depending on how far you end up away from the ledge you still end up getting ko'd in the process(sometimes). also have noticed that ledge grabs seem kinda wonky, sometimes doesn't seem to register when am near enough when it should work. is this normal? and just in case someone might be wondering how I am playing comfortably on a wiiu(because no gamecube controller slots)its because am using the classic controller. and it works almost as good!
