Installation and feature walk through for the Pulsar LT, part number 22451, in the 2019-2021 Chevrolet and GMC 5.3L and 6.2L

I installed mine on my 2019 Silverado, and set the throttle responsivity to number two. All I can say is wow what a difference. No more hesitation when push down on the pedal take or go into passing gear now. Now I have a full-time V8 instead of a part-time being. Think I lost a mile a gallon maybe, that's not to bad. I did do a complete installation video....very easy to install and set up.

They say in 2019 silverado 5.3 v8 the pulsar lt causes the truck to go into limp mod/lifter failure have u had any issues with this

@@user-dn6np4ec9x I have not had any issues of any kind since the installation. The truck now has almost 49,000 miles and no issues as of yet.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pulsar LT comes with a preset gear ratio. Mine was preset 3.23 but my vehicle is a 3.42. So, make sure you know your vehicle gear ratio and program it accordingly.

So you don't need to update the software like it says on the box saying you MUST update software before installing

Hello, I had a failure on my truck for my yearly inspection and I had LT for emissions

You are supposed to remove the chip off of your engine connect your regular harness back up. Every dealership any emissions will fail you if you have this thing on. You have to disconnect it and take it out. It's easy it's not like it's a burden

Does the pulsar LT disable the cruise control cancel button permanently because it’s being used for the settings mode of the pulsar LT ??

Nope! While the truck is running, the cruise cancel button doesn't do anything. But if you're truck is running and cruise control is off, the cruise + and - buttons adjust your performance level.

Does this show up on dealership service scan tool when getting vehicle service or do you remove it before going to the dealership

How do I know my DFM is disabled other than seeing the speedometer read 140? Is there a way to guarentee its off? Its not like the truck has a display as to how many cylinders its using but it feels odd to pay 550 dollars for this and not be able to truly confirm.

That’s what I don’t like about this truck. My 2014 showed on the display how many cyl. It was running on.

Well you can easily tell if you have an exhaust aftermarket exhaust and you can probably tell with the original exhaust it's just a better driving. I've had mine on for 3 years and I will never go back

Yes, it will. It even says it on the product manufacturer website. I would def suggest it with that engine, they seem to have the lifter problems from DFM sooner than the 5.3. My Pulsar LT will be here Friday and I can't wait.

Hello I just got the 2022 sierra with the 6.2L I j stalled the pulsar and the engine it did it start. I followed the instructions to the T. I believe. Could it need and update on the pulsar to work on my truck. My truck has the full digital cluster fyi. Could that be the issue.

Is your truck the 22’ refresh? Newer interior… If so that’s the problem. Refresh isn’t supported yet. That’s the boat I’m in…

Do you need to disconnect the negative lead of your battery first? Be it installation or removal?

So I have 37 inch tires and 24x12 wheels and truck lags a little..if I get the pulsar and adjust the "throttle response" will that help with the lagging?

Absolutely! The Pulsar LT will calibrate your speedo for the larger tire, which will help. But the throttle response will make it drive much nicer
