I enjoy your shows! We fiddle with art/design and math. Watching children marvel at something fly that they have helped build is really cool. We dig your knowledge, enthusiasm and creations.

My favorite plodding heavy metal band from the 1970s? Budgie!

Very neat, lightweight and simple. Much better than the rubber band that so many old plans show.

Josh, on a movable surface, the trim tab goes in the opposite direction of desired surface deflection, right? The reversed image and fixed fin have me all confused on how that trim tab would provide 'right rudder' as you mentioned in the video.

Darn it. I forgot to flip this footage around after recording. Selfie camera mode strikes again!

Also, this isn't a trim tab - it's really just a small rudder.

Are the budgies, cherries and kids essential to the process?

Essential. The budgie is the mastermind behind Joshua's business. He taught Josh how to build and fly. He now supervises the production of the kits. All joking aside, and IMHO, the budgies, cherries and kids add a pleasant atmosphere to the video.
