Do you know why I like your channel? Because you bring ideas that I also think about !! And the most amazing part is seeing someone do it in a professional and orderly way 👍👍👍 keep it up !! For example I noticed that I have a windshield fluid bulb but that there is no sensor in the tank. I was looking for the wires and made a real mess out of it, from there I took an old brake fluid tank, put it in the windshield fluid tank and connected the wires that were in the area, and it works !! 🤟

Hi! I have question about Mazda 626GF. I have bought one about a year ago: (2001, 2.0, AT, GAS/LPG). But fuel consumption is huge, about 15L/100km (GAS) and 17L/100km (LPG). The car has no any errors, I have changed a lot of parts (fuel pump; fuel pressure regulator; solenoid; lambda sensors) but stil same fuel consumption... I have cleaned throttle, EGR and MAF sensor and still same... There is no air leakage, all seals and hoses are new. I can see that you a very familiar with that kind of car model, please give some advise. Where can be a problem? Thanks in advance!

How is your exhaust smoke color? Black? Also if I were you I would adjust base idle, as if that is wrong, more air will go in the engine so computer will inject more fuel, thus higher fuel consumption.

@@Mazda626GF Smoke is almost invisible color. Just a little bit black may be. As for adjusting base idle, can you tell me please how it must be done correctly? As I know, this model does not have a distributor...

I'm on the phone, so I cannot give links, but I'll try to be very descriptive. First the overview of the procedure: 1. Warmup the engine. 2. Stop the engine. 3. Bridge TEN and GND connections on the DIAGNOSTICS box under the hood (Google the pinout). 4. Start the engine. 5. Unplug the IAC valve. 6. Adjust air screw. 7. Turn off the engine 8. Remove jumper cable 9. Start and verify if idle is good. Now, just following that will do you no good. Since you are 2001 model you should have OBDII port in the drivers feet. Connect diagnostics there so you can read engine RPM accurately. If for some reason you do not have ODB port there, you can either create one from the DIAGNOSTICS connector (search Google on how), or use external device that can show 4 cylinder engine RPM. Then for the adjustment - you need to first find the sport at which the engine has just enough air not to stall. Then give a bit more air. Then plug back in the IAC and check resulting RPM. Specification says 550-750. I used to run at 650, but engine misfires from time to time, so I raised it to 750 and it is fine now. Adjust if necessary.

Good. Also check if throttle position sensor shows 0% when you are not touching the pedal.
