man i've flashed tasmota on several sonoff devices. none work on home assistant. and all the info i can find is old. any chance of making an up to date guide?

Beware that some commercial devices (like bridges for Zigbee/IR/RF) are using USB for power without this port being usable for flashing.

For most of them you can use the pins inside for the flashing, but of course using the USB port is a lot faster and easier

How much Time does it take to install? I waited 30min+ in the "preparing installation " on the Web installer

My tasmota would not retain the wifi credentials, its been hour since I am trying. I am doing everything as you are doing. :(

Thanks, the easiest way is to use Nabu Casa (Home Assistant Cloud service) to natively integrate HA with Google Assistant.
