I own a 3rd gen mega cab myself so I kinda miss the old 3rd gen content but I owned a 2015 4th gen before the 3rd gen so having something new to watch is nice also. Keep the content coming man! I've been wanting to install a Double Din in my 07.5 6.7 Ram, just don't know which one to get, you have any suggestions on a good brand that won't break the bank account. I had a Kenwood double din, with apple carplay on it in my 3rd gen it was a good unit! I got a video on my channel when I installed it a few years ago

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL it was a software/MCU update. The company worked with me for 3 days to find a solution. Now AC works with full control. Still some kinks with other stuff that company said they are working to fix. Sorry to hear that you had to return the unit.

Thats good to know they fixed it bro. So you bought the exact same one I did? Just asking cause if they fixed that issue ill.order it again. Everything else worked good for me. What year is your truck?

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL yep, got it over the other vertical screens because of the knobs! In case you do re-order and they didn’t update the MCU I have the file. My truck is a 2014 2500. I’m trying to change the Home Screen to make it look more OEM/Uconnect but it’s still a work in process. Also used the factory GPS antenna with the radio and it works perfectly (I got the adapter that connects the two off Amazon)

I watched the 3 year old video a couple days ago and today.... I'm entering the diesel world and I found a 2016 2500 Tradesmen with 78k at a dealership. I was paying attention to the comment about how you dont buy from dealerships. They want 41K has a full delete, tuner lift etc. I know alot of the aftermarket stuff has been done as far as def. Do you have any opinion or advice on a truck like that?

Hopefully you can figure out how to change the vehicle to a RAM truck atleast. The Android Auto app graphics are no better or worse than stock in my opinion and don't matter to me. But seeing a car instead of a truck is a deal breaker. I'd rather have no pic than that. Also, fyi 2018 stock 8.4 like what's in my Limited has CarPlay & Android Auto. And since the last update is now wireless as long as your phone is on 10 or above platform.
