Installing the Logitech G29 Racing wheel and Pedals to my Playseat Sim Racing rig. This is Part 2 of my sim racing set up where I mount the Logitech g29 to the rig, if you didnt see the first video of me building the Playseat rig then please go and take a look.

The holes not aligned is a common problem with the playseat. I've had this with all the wheels I've used in the past. Before I put in the screws that align with holes I apply velcro to both the playseat base and under the pedal set to keep everything sturdy. Another thing I learned is not to tighten the screws too much or you risk ripping off the bolt from its plastic mold.

on mine, 2 screw holes lined up on the wheel, so i used those and the clamps on the wheel. the foot pedals 4 screws lined up so i used those and they were perfect. so everything tight.

Hi Marc, funny im in process of setting up my rig and found this video. i too bought g29 and a rig super close to yours. mine has the adjustible seat back and slide for the leg adjustment but basically the same rig. i bought the gear shift to from logitech so had to make a box of wood to raise the shifter up some 6 inches, but im good to go now. mine is hooked to a super computer Dell G5 with all the bells and whistles with the dell curved 32 inch super screen. i love it.

Ah that is so handy, I love the set up but the only thing I wish I could do is change the angle of the seat!

did you add the logitech g shifter to this setup? I like your racing seat and stand, just wondering if the serial cable for the shifter is long enough to run across the frame and into the wheel for a clean install.

No the playseat is just a seat and stand essentially it is only the wheel that provides feedback

Hi mate, love the couple of videos super helpful! I was just wondering what your experience has been so far on using the brake pedal with the steering column placement in the middle?

Thanks man, I was hoping it would be helpful to someone! Yeah I read a lot of reviews of people saying the steering column gets in the way but for me its been fine, no bother at all! I think if you were much taller or much shorter then it might be an issue as I've messed around with different adjustments but for my height (5'10) then its been just fine!

how you finding it? I got the xbox version wish I got one that works on all my consoles didn't do much research when getting a wheel just wanted to play forza but now I can only play gran turismo with a controller which is lame

MIKE OXSMALL -_- Yeah I think getting a universal one is a bit more tricky by the sounds of it but I only really play Gran Tourismo anyway so worked for me. How are you finding yours?

this is like one of the cheapest entry level wheels you can get the paddles, the FF the rim size and the pedals will not be anywhere near realistic
