I actually use the instant cold brew and shake it up with cold almond milk. Skip the water.

almond milk basically is 98% water anyways. try it with water and some oat milk next time. it'll come out much creamier.

The Instant Cold Brew from TJ's is great. It's convenient, it tastes good, and you can take the stuff anywhere so you can make coffee and not be bothered to leave the room. I use it for work at home on cold mornings, I just add it to a glass of 1% lactose free milk, and this stuff is divine. I add more than a scoop, maybe a scoop and a half. Of course, I don't compare it to actual cold brew or kyoto coffee, I compare it to other instants as an instant coffee. It mixes way better than others, and it's 100% arabica, and for $5 bucks a jar, I'm sold.

I just mix the TJ's Cold Brew into cold milk. 1% fat lactose free. Prefer it over expensive coffee house coffee.

Great video! Just bought the TJ Instant Cold Brew and I actually love it with some sweet creamer. It can't compare with Starbucks but I'll save so much money haha

Cafe Bustalo instant espresso is my favorite instant coffee. I would suggest hot water, then ice and use more per oz of water, not less.

I've been on the dividing line when it come to instant but find it lacks the depth of whole/ground/concentrate.

Yes you're totally right. It's just bland compared to freshly ground :(

When you make cold brew what ratio or coffee and water do you use? I’ve been doing 1 cup coffee to 4 cups water
@IcedCoffeeLifestyle3 жыл бұрын
That's about what I use. I have a few other videos where I go through my exact ratio measurements.

What if you just ice Folgers?
@IcedCoffeeLifestyle Жыл бұрын
it would make a coffee tasting liquid, but it won't taste great and may not have significant caffeine. This type of instant coffee is designed to be diluted with water, folgers is meant to be brewed with hot water extraction

@@IcedCoffeeLifestyle Thanks. I have Diabetic Neuropathy in my hands and feet, so I search for easiest methods. I know I need to quit diet soda, but with my prescriptions, I need caffeine to stay awake. So cold coffee would also be safer for my hands.
